Water rafting & 4x4 Back country
We were a group of four, and all of us enjoyed both excursions very much. Both Chris & Jay were very professional and knowledgeable. We learned so much about the area & history. Thank you!!
Response from the operator: Danielle, we can't thankyou enough for adventuring with us not once but twice during your stay in Moab! Your five stars mean a lot to us, and Jay and Chris will appreciate this feedback. Wishing you safe and happy travels!

108 day on the river
This full day experience was perfect for a 108 degree day in Moab. Our guide Jay was fantastic, knowledgeable, funny and very enjoyable for the 7 plus hour trip. There were not as many rapids due to the lack of water speed but still great. Jay got us all into the water and floating for hours of our trip, keeping us cool and comfortable. I highly recommend this trip.
Response from the operator: On a blistering hot July day in the desert, the river is the place to be. We are so glad you found us and that you got to have a day with Jay in one of his favorite places, and that the experience was perfect for you! Thank you for recommending this trip to others! Family fun
We took 3 of our adult children and their mates on a private charter. Chrispy was our guide. He worked hard on a windy day and had great stories and a lot of fun making a great memory.
Response from the operator: Thank you for choosing a private trip for your family's river day. WWV guides are here for you so you can focus on making the memories! We appreciate your review, your special shout out to Chris P, and this recommendation to future guests. You've got friends at WWV!

Great full day tours
We had two great full day private tours. The first was at Arches and the second at Canyonlands. Jason was very knowledgeable and a very enthusiastic guide for both days. Our only really downside was that the lunch sandwiches were pretty paltry. We did ask for vegetarian and got minimal vegetables and one slice of cheese. Bring your own lunch! Also, one point of feedback is that each time we went on a walk/hike, it would've been helpful to specify the length and difficulty in order to decide whether to bring a full backpack or just some water. This is a minor point, but useful to know. Overall, we would totally do it again!!!!
Response from the operator: Hello and thank you for touring with us! First and foremost, please know we have shored up issues with early season lunches and have now enhanced the vegetarian sammies to our own high standards. Thank you for the tip! Hats off to Jason who, thanks to his continued research and explorations, has more than two full days' worth of knowledge at his fingertips. Thanks again for joining us and happy travels to you!

Our Wild West Voyage
We had an awesome day on the Colorado River with our guide Shelby. Wild West Voyages has been called “a small company with a big heart”. They clearly love and take pride in what they do. We had heard of a man and woman kayakers that had gotten in trouble on the river two days before. Turns out it was our guide Shelby who just happened to be nearby and had helped save the lucky couple. Kudos to Shelby. Needless to say, we were in good hands with her piloting our day. She was fun and hard working and made sure we had a great wild west voyage.
Response from the operator: I agree you are in good hands with Shelby! In addition to caring for our own guided tour guests, we adhere strongly to the Leave-No-Trace principles which include being stewards of the land and being respectful (helpful when possible) of other folks while we are out there. We're glad you had a great Wild West Voyage! Your words here mean a lot to us so thank you for sharing.

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Moab Full-Day Guided Private Charter Colorado River Rafting: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moab.
How much does Moab Full-Day Guided Private Charter Colorado River Rafting cost?
+
Prices start at $1440 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moab usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Moab Full-Day Guided Private Charter Colorado River Rafting take?
+
Plan for about 6.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moab is not rushed.
Is Moab Full-Day Guided Private Charter Colorado River Rafting worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 48 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moab, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Moab Full-Day Guided Private Charter Colorado River Rafting?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Moab Full-Day Guided Private Charter Colorado River Rafting suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Moab Full-Day Guided Private Charter Colorado River Rafting?
+
Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moab can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moab and add a light layer if any part of the 6.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Moab Full-Day Guided Private Charter Colorado River Rafting start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moab within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Moab?
+
Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands: sunrise arch tours, 4x4 runs on Hell's Revenge, Colorado River rafting, canyoneering and dark-sky stargazing. Park entry timing systems change often, so we weight tours that handle reservations for you. On Outty we rank every Moab experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HIGHLY RATED U-DRIVE Moab Hell’s Revenge UTV Off-Road Adventure, BEST! Hell's Revenge U-Drive 4X4 Tour in Moab +Dinosaur Tracks!, 5-STAR Moab Hell's Revenge UTV U-DRIVE TOUR + DINO TRACKS. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Moab?
+
April to May and September to October, avoiding peak summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Moab?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
