Mike was Great 👍
Mike was ultimately chill. I had a ton of questions and he was happy to answer them. I was unhappy to hear the Colorado river has no sharks, but Mike’s chillness made up for it. He really has given me motivation to do what you love, and love what you do. I would come back again. I hope you’re seeing this, Mike. My stokeage level is 30,000+ feet. Really good experience.
Response from the operator: What a fantastic review! So glad to hear your stokeage level reached that altitude as that is certainly our goal for every trip. Your remarks warmed our hearts and we immediately passed them along to Mike as well as the rest of the team. We hope to have the opportunity to provide another exciting excursion on your next visit to Moab.

Best way to see Canyonlands with the best tour company
An excellent way to see Canyonlands- the morning tour took us through the back country, including a thrilling ride up Shaffer Canyon. Our guide, John, had so much experience & knowledge that he shared with us most enthusiastically- he really made the trip! The afternoon rafting trip was very beautiful & quite peaceful. Our guide, Eli, was an absolute delight! A very experienced river guide, full of local knowledge- scientific & cultural- & extremely willing to make sure his guests enjoyed the trip. Highly recommend Navtec & their special guides.

Nice but not what I thought it was going to be
This was a combination tour. The first part of the day was driving around in a 4x4 in Canyonlands. I’m not sure what I was expecting but this ride was really bumpy and there were some serious sections that were very high up on windy roads with no barriers. I wish I had known that before I signed up. Our driver was very good but overall I was a left a little disappointed by this - and somewhat freaked out! The second half of the day was rafting. Again I was left disappointed mainly because I was under the impression from the marketing of this that it was white water rafting. It was not. It was a float down the river. It was nice but again, not what I was expecting.

Perfect addition to any vacation for all ages!
Took the combo 4x4 trip to Canyonlands in the morning and the rafting adventure in the afternoon. This was a perfect opportunity to see the White Rim section of Canyonlands via the rough back roads we couldn’t drive through ourselves, and relax afterwards with a slow Colorado river raft tour ! Our guides were exceptional: knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and most of all, very safe-conscious. The views on both tours were incredible. Definitely recommend!!

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Moab Combo: Colorado River Rafting and Canyonlands 4X4 Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moab.
How much does Moab Combo: Colorado River Rafting and Canyonlands 4X4 Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $330 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moab usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Moab Combo: Colorado River Rafting and Canyonlands 4X4 Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moab is not rushed.
Is Moab Combo: Colorado River Rafting and Canyonlands 4X4 Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 222 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moab, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Moab Combo: Colorado River Rafting and Canyonlands 4X4 Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Moab Combo: Colorado River Rafting and Canyonlands 4X4 Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Moab Combo: Colorado River Rafting and Canyonlands 4X4 Tour?
+
Around 78 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moab can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moab and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Moab Combo: Colorado River Rafting and Canyonlands 4X4 Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moab within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Moab?
+
Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands: sunrise arch tours, 4x4 runs on Hell's Revenge, Colorado River rafting, canyoneering and dark-sky stargazing. Park entry timing systems change often, so we weight tours that handle reservations for you. On Outty we rank every Moab experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HIGHLY RATED U-DRIVE Moab Hell’s Revenge UTV Off-Road Adventure, BEST! Hell's Revenge U-Drive 4X4 Tour in Moab +Dinosaur Tracks!, 5-STAR Moab Hell's Revenge UTV U-DRIVE TOUR + DINO TRACKS. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Moab?
+
April to May and September to October, avoiding peak summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Moab?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
