Limited on time, this is the way to take it all in 3 hours
Seeing Minneapolis and St. Paul in three hours. Visitors get a chance to learn about the history, the art and architecture and culture of both cities. They provided recommendations on what to see on your own while visiting. You get to see parks , lakes , historic homes and you get to be awe inspired by the state capitol.
Response from the operator: Thank you. We had a great morning together packing a lot of history, culture, and architecture into a compact three hours. I'm glad the pace left you time to head up to the Minnesota State Capitol rooftop afterward — that view is a favorite bonus. It was an honor to wrap-up your cruise on the Mississippi River with a good look at both Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Floridians have fallen in love with Minnesota!
Doug Kline and driver Brandon were delightful and full of information and enthusiasm. We learned so much about this area in our three hour tour with them and feel we got more than our money's worth. Well, well worth the money!! Tallahassee, Florida
Response from the operator: Thank you. It was such a fun tour with the two of you, and I loved sharing all the layers of this area with such curious, engaged guests. Glad you got up on the roof of our state Capitol building afterward, that view is always a treat, and I'm happy I could give you some good context right before you kicked off your Mississippi River cruise down to St. Louis. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Falling in love with The Cities!
I wanted my friends visiting me from NY to understand why I loved living here after moving here six years ago after being in NY for 34. Doug Kline made that happen and my girlfriends can’t wait to bring their husbands!!
Response from the operator: Thank you. It was a joy showing your friends around and showing them why you love living in the Twin Cities. We covered a lot of ground together, and it's always fun watching a group soak up the cities with fresh eyes. Best wishes, and I hope your girlfriends make it back soon with their husbands to see it firsthand!

Excellent experience!
Our guide, Doug Kline, and driver, Brandon, provided an enjoyable and informative tour of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Even though I have lived in Minnesota for a long time I learned lots. Our Canadian guests had never been to Minnesota, so they appreciated the overview and local stories. The experience was exactly as described and a strong value for the cost. Highly recommended experience!
Response from the operator: Thank you. I had a wonderful time showing the Twin Cities to your Canadian first-time visitors, and I'm happy to hear that you, as a Minnesotan, learned a lot, too. Best wishes to all of you!

Twin Cities Full Monty!!
One of the best private tours we have ever taken. It was so well done, we booked a second day with Doug directly. The limo and driver enhanced the experience. Doug got to know us and made recommendations to alter the standard tour stops based on our preferences. Doug knows his geography, culture, architecture and history! We wanted to be immersed in the twin cities and left felling like we lived there it! Would not hesitate to recommend and wished all of our tours were this good.
Response from the operator: Thank you! I know you wanted to fully immerse yourself in the Twin Cities to really get a feel for our history, culture and life today. And, during our two days together, I think we succeeded! I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to Minnesota and I know you liked attending your annual play-off at our Convention Center. A fun for week for you!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Minneapolis & St. Paul Highlights Private Riding & Walking Tour (3 hrs): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Minneapolis-Saint Paul.
How much does Minneapolis & St. Paul Highlights Private Riding & Walking Tour (3 hrs) cost?
+
Prices start at $585 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Minneapolis-Saint Paul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Minneapolis & St. Paul Highlights Private Riding & Walking Tour (3 hrs) take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Minneapolis-Saint Paul is not rushed.
Is Minneapolis & St. Paul Highlights Private Riding & Walking Tour (3 hrs) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 45 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Minneapolis & St. Paul Highlights Private Riding & Walking Tour (3 hrs)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Minneapolis & St. Paul Highlights Private Riding & Walking Tour (3 hrs) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Minneapolis & St. Paul Highlights Private Riding & Walking Tour (3 hrs)?
+
Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Minneapolis-Saint Paul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Minneapolis-Saint Paul and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Minneapolis & St. Paul Highlights Private Riding & Walking Tour (3 hrs) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Minneapolis-Saint Paul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Minneapolis-Saint Paul?
+
The Twin Cities cover Mississippi mill district history, chain of lakes bike and paddle tours, Mall of America trips, brewery crawls in Northeast and winter ice experiences. Seasonal swing is extreme, so honest weather guidance matters. On Outty we rank every Minneapolis-Saint Paul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Escape Game: Epic 60-Minute Adventures at the Mall of America, Narrated Scenic Tour on the Minneapolis Trolley, St. Paul Historic Cave Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Minneapolis-Saint Paul?
+
June to September, with winter activities from December to February. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Minneapolis-Saint Paul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
