    What you'll see and do

    1. The starting point of the tour, by BeerWalks shop in the bustling street of Istedgade, once the absolute Red Light District of Copenhagen, today it has transformed to some very different (and expensive) neighborhood! Still one of the most interesting areas of Copenhagen!

      20 minutes here

    2. The Vesterbro area’s main street Istedgade exudes diversity. Between porn shops and strip bars are some of the city's best boutiques, restaurants and bars. For many years, Istedgade was dominated by drugs, porn and prostitutes, but today the famous street has transformed to something else – especially in the end opposite Copenhagen Central Station, while still maintaining some of its authentic vibes in the other.

      35 minutes here

    3. Skydebanehaven

Hear the story of what Skydebanehaven was, back in the days. Today it is a staffed playground Skydebanehaven is one of Copenhagen's staffed playgrounds. The staff won't look after the children, but they will arrange activities such as sports tournaments, treasure hunts and more. The playground also offers little bicycles, gocarts and scooters for the children to use as long as they put them back after use.

      15 minutes here

    4. Does one of the best squares in the city still have room for vagrants? This question needed answering as Enghave Plads prepared for a new Metro station. In the not too distant past, Enghave Plads was a gathering place for the city’s vagrants and other vulnerable people. They used the square as their living room, and left a clear mark on the urban landscape. Hear the story on this BeerWalk.

      20 minutes here

    5. Since a complete makeover in 2007, Sønder Boulevard has been a popular stretch of green in Vesterbro used for relaxation and hang outs by people of all ages and all walks of life. Sønder Boulevard is home to many great shops and eateries. It's also a prime stretch for dog walking. The boulevard is lined with urban soccer fields, basketball, and ping pong tables. It's been designed for the people to use it and doubles as a yard for locals living in the surrounding apartment buildings. You can't say Sønder Boulevard without saying Absalon; Vesterbro's extended living room and a prime spot to chat up a local.

      40 minutes here

    6. Originally home to Copenhagen meat industry businesses, “Kødbyen” has changed into a new and creative cluster with galleries, nightlife and restaurants. The Meatpacking District consists of two parts: The Brown and The White from 1878 and 1934, respectively, and is a part of Copenhagen’s Vesterbro neighbourhood. The once industrial and gritty part of town, has become fashionable and popular with its central location and wide-spanning cultural offerings, including a buzzing nightlife. Today, you can still meet a few food companies in the area, where the original, industrial vibes still exist alongside partygoers and local hangouts.

    Great tour!

Lots of beer, great stories about Mikkeller .... and more great beers. Mårten was an amazing guide. 2 swedes among a sea of danes. Pro tip: danish is more understandable after 2-3 strong beers. Mighly recommend!

Response from the operator: Hi Thank you and you are right, after a few beers, everyone speaks and understand the universal language of Beerish. Happy you liked the BeerWalk. Cheers, Christoffer BeerWalks.dk

Mikkeller Craft Beer Walk in Vesterbro: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Copenhagen.

How much does Mikkeller Craft Beer Walk in Vesterbro cost?

    +

Prices start at $395 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Copenhagen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mikkeller Craft Beer Walk in Vesterbro take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Copenhagen is not rushed.

Is Mikkeller Craft Beer Walk in Vesterbro worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Copenhagen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mikkeller Craft Beer Walk in Vesterbro?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mikkeller Craft Beer Walk in Vesterbro suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Mikkeller Craft Beer Walk in Vesterbro?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Copenhagen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Copenhagen and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mikkeller Craft Beer Walk in Vesterbro start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Copenhagen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Copenhagen?

    +

On Outty we rank every Copenhagen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Grand Day Trip around Copenhagen, Copenhagen Walking Tour: Politically Incorrect Intro, Social Sailing - Copenhagen Canal Tour - Captain's Favorite. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Copenhagen?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Copenhagen?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
