Fishing of a Life Time
This is my 4th year with Mike Adams, and again he did a great job adjusting our fishing days due to small runs and selected a different river to put us in the best position to catch fish. Great job helping the Ladies out. Looking foward to next year.
Response from the operator: It's always great fishing with you guys! Thanks for keeping me out on the water doing what I love to do

The awesome fishing trip
it was awesome! Mike adams got us on the fish👍 He put us where the fish were and told us just how to catch them.
Response from the operator: Thanks for fishing with me!

Amazing day fishing
Mike made for an amazing salmon fishing day. He had done his scouting and found out based on fish river count entering the river, best location and adjusted. While many spots had numerous groups fishing the banks, he found a spot where we were the only ones. After some fly fishing lessons we started to fish. After some adjustments throughout the day, some tips, we maxed out our count. After Mike cleaned the fish, the only thing left is salmon supper. Thanks Mike for making a lasting memory
Response from the operator: I'm glad you enjoyed the trip! Thanks for choosing to experience the Kenai with me.

Fish on
Mike was a great guide! He taught me some new tricks that definitely helped land more fish faster! Will definitely book with him again.
Response from the operator: Thanks for choosing to fish with me. See you next time!

Great Guide, Great River
I have fished twice with Alaskan Angling Adventures and I probably will do again. Even though I live in Alaska and can get to the river in a short time, I enjoy fishing with Mike as I always get to see a bit of the river I am unfamiliar with, learn new tips and tricks I can apply to my own fishing and run idea's past him and we float. Mike is very patient with a relative newcomer to the sport like myself and he takes the stress out of it and allows me to enjoy myself even if I am flaying about. so far I have never failed to catch a fish on a trip. I hope to float with him again soon.
Response from the operator: I sure appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts about our trips together and I hope we get the chance to fish together again soon. It is one of the joys of guiding to be able to share these wild places with someone who enjoys it as much as me.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Middle Kenai River Full-Day Fishing Trip: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Soldotna.
How much does Middle Kenai River Full-Day Fishing Trip cost?
+
Prices start at $385 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Soldotna usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Middle Kenai River Full-Day Fishing Trip take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Soldotna is not rushed.
Is Middle Kenai River Full-Day Fishing Trip worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Soldotna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Middle Kenai River Full-Day Fishing Trip?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Middle Kenai River Full-Day Fishing Trip suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Middle Kenai River Full-Day Fishing Trip?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Soldotna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Soldotna and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Middle Kenai River Full-Day Fishing Trip start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Soldotna within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Soldotna?
+
On Outty we rank every Soldotna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full day fishing trips, Kenai River Fishing Charter, Full-Day Upper Kenai River Guided Fishing Trip. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Soldotna?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Soldotna?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
