    Amazing Salmon Fishing Excursion

We booked with Mike Adams for 3 days salmon fishing at Cooper Landing and he also made our living arrangements for our visit. Mike was flexible with our time spent on the river. He put us is very active fishing areas at each stop. We've never fished with a fly rod and Mike was great in teaching us how to use a fly rod and be able to land the salmon. Mike cleaned and vacuum sealed the fish we chose to keep and take home with us. The cabin we stayed at was exactly what we wanted to it sat right on the Kenai River. The views were amazing. We will plan another trip to Alaska and book with Alaska Angling Adventures again. Thanks Mile!

    Outstanding fishing guide!

Mike is an amazing guide and teacher! I’ve had three guided salmon fishing trips in my time in AK and he’s simply the best. He knows where the fish are takes his job very seriously. Incredible time with my sons and brother in law — Highly recommend and plan on using him again next year!

Hopefully more than a once in a life time experience

Mike Adams arranged everything except air fare and rent a car. We fished 5 days and had 2 days off for travel. Fished 2 days for halibut in Homer Alaska with Maverick Charter. Then traveled to Coopers Landing and fished for sockeye salmon and trout. Mike Adams let us experience multiple ways to fish. He also arranged for a float plan to a remote lake where we salmon fished right along with brown bears about 25 yards from our boat. Very cool. Our housing accommodations in Homer and Coopers landing was 5 stars. In Homer Maria send a sack breakfast with us each day and the day we left Homer we had a huge breakfast with her staff. In Coopers Landing Mike Adams prepared a sack lunch each day we fished. He is very organized and a great communicator. Fishing was great saw moose, eagles and bears. He is very knowledgeable about the Alaskan environment and cares deeply about preserving it. He is a great fishing quiet and a better person. Thanks again Mike. Bryan and Corey Black.

Response from the operator: I'm glad you had such a memorable trip. It was great to share this awesome place with you guys!

Fantastic week long Alaskan fishing trip

Great weeklong trip arranged by Mike. Two days in Homer fishing for halibut on The Maverick. Action was fast and everyone limited both days. Majestic B&B was wonderful. Fished the Upper Kenai with Mike for sockeyes. Got our limits of fresh fish. Next day flew with Talon Air to fish Lake Clark for sockeyes. Quick limits but the bears fishing was the treat. Final day we fished the river with Mike and caught sockeyes, rainbows and Dolly Vardons. Cabin on the river was fantastic. Fourteen years since I fished with Mike. It won’t be that long until the next time.Mike’s knowledge of the river and fish combined with great equipment makes for a first class trip.

Response from the operator: It was great to spend time on the water with you again! I'm already looking forward to the next time

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
