Amazing experience

A wonderful day from start to finish. As there was only my husband and myself we had a totally private tour so Chris our guide tailored it to our request. We enjoyed all about of the history of the island whilst being chauffeured all around the north of the island along some of the older roads to look at the lighthouse and to Assos (Chris provided wine, bread - baked by his mother and cheeses and sausage all on a picnic table overlooking the castle) so thoughtful and to Fiskado, stopping off at a beautiful authentic Greek taverna in the middle of nowhere for a lovely lunch. I would highly recommend this tour, definitely with Chris as it was like being out for the day with a friend.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful 5-star review! ⭐️ We’re delighted to hear that you and your husband had such a memorable day exploring the north of Kefalonia. We’re especially happy that Chris made the tour personal and relaxed, and that you enjoyed the little touches, including the picnic overlooking Assos Castle. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with him! Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back to Kefalonia again soon!

The BEST day ever!

We had the most amazing private tour today with Chris. We couldn’t recommend this trip enough. Chris has unbelievable attention to detail and is extremely knowledgeable. Chris went the extra mile to make the tour feel special. We are currently away to celebrate my 30th birthday and this trip just topped the whole thing off! Chris is an absolute asset to this company and when we return to Kefalonia, we would 100% book another trip. Couldn’t ask for anything better! Thank you again, truly amazing and unforgettable!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! Happy birthday wish you all the best! Hope to have you among us again soon!

Tour of Assos and Fiskardo.

Everything from start to finish was excellent . Chris picked us up outside our hotel and went above and beyond showing us round the island . We had plenty of little stops along the way to take photos before hitting the bigger towns . Chris was full of information about the areas and island which was interesting. Would definitely recommend a private tour as you get more in than a group tour .

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! It was a pleasure spending the day with you and showing you around our beautiful island. I'm so glad you enjoyed the scenic stops, the stories about Kefalonia, and the flexibility of a private tour. Thank you for your kind recommendation—it really means a lot. I hope to see you again on your next visit to Kefalonia. Safe travels!

A day we will never forget

What a day. The day started with being picked up at the hotel by Chris. We were then driven to a viewpoint overlooking Argostolli, then myrtos beach. Chris told us about the history of the island throughout our journey, he is so knowledgeable about the history of Kefalonia. We then headed to Assos, again stopping at viewpoints along the way to show us the area from above, before heading to Assos, a beautiful village. We stopped in Assos for a while, and Chris had kindly brought a picnic and local wine for our stop, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We then went to Fiscardo, and was able to wander around at our leisure. We were then taken to Emplisi beach where we had a swim stop for an hour. Finally finishing our tour at the famous Mellasini lake, which was breathtaking, taking a small boat tour of the lake, before sadly heading back to our hotel. We had a fabulous day, and Chris is a great asset to the company, we wouldn't hesitate to book for a further trip. Next trip is to Argostolli for an evening cruise and shopping/explore, which we are looking forward to.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! I am glad you enjoyed your tour and hope to have you among us again soon!

Melissani, Assos, Fiskardo & Myrtos Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cephalonia.

How much does Melissani, Assos, Fiskardo & Myrtos Private Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $420 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cephalonia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Melissani, Assos, Fiskardo & Myrtos Private Tour take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cephalonia is not rushed.

Is Melissani, Assos, Fiskardo & Myrtos Private Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cephalonia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Melissani, Assos, Fiskardo & Myrtos Private Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Melissani, Assos, Fiskardo & Myrtos Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Melissani, Assos, Fiskardo & Myrtos Private Tour?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cephalonia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cephalonia and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Melissani, Assos, Fiskardo & Myrtos Private Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cephalonia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cephalonia?

+

On Outty we rank every Cephalonia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include "Dreamy cruise"Daily Cruise from Argostoli harbour with a traditional Greek boat, "QueenBee" Full-Day Boat Trip with Lunch, Kefalonia Island Bus Tour- Wine Tasting, Melissani & Fiscardo. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cephalonia?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cephalonia?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
