    Amazing! Highly Recommend!

From start to finish, the crew and experience was awesome. We were running late and they remained calm and kind, helping us to get all we need done before push off. The ride itself was wonderful - it really felt like a guided, relaxed tour in the middle of the ocean. Hearing about the history of Maui and the surrounding cities was special. Then, to top it all off the snorkeling was amazing! We saw lots of sea life, turtles, even a reef shark and a few dolphins. Above all - the crew was so positive and welcoming...the options to purchase rash guards, hats, adult beverages for five bucks (yahoo), and pictures was great. The vessel itself was so spacious - lots of opportunity to have sunshine or shade. Would definitely recommend this experience!

Response from the operator: A big mahalo for recommending our Snorkeling Boat Tour to Turtle Town aboard Quicksilver! We’re delighted you had a great experience and hope to welcome you back again soon.

    Unprofessional

I understand comment sense is that trip is cancelled dues to storm . BUT I called 2 days ahead and the young lady said captain has not cancelled and I will be contact if it’s cancelled. Weather said we storm should pass by Sunday night . Since I paid and the kids really wanted to go snorkeling and we I didn’t receive any phone calls . I tried to call the all day Sunday ….. no one picked up the phone. Since it said we can’t get a refund if we cancel less than 24 hours, we received a confirmation from Viator confirmed our trip for Monday ( I attached the confirmation text green shot)….comes Monday morning 6:30am …blue sky .. sunshine no wind so we drove 40 mins to the dock to meet at 7:30am: We were super excited to see a big of group of people waiting by the dock ready with beach towels. I thought we get to go snorkeling after all… BUT that group was waiting belong to another vendor. So I went to Boss frog’s Quicksilver. It’s closed and there was a guy sitting there said tour from Quicksilver tour is canceled!! ALL I need is a phone call or a text saying it canceled!! But Boss Frog Quicksilver didn’t communicate or contact us! My kids was disappoint and I was upset for waiting up extra early and drive almost an hour for nothing. BYW.. we tried to ask the tour that are leaving the the activity to add us to the trip but they said everyone showed up and there was no room for us. Boss Frog’s tour should be more professional and contact their customers. I have 1 star because I receive an email from Viator that I will get 100% refund .

    An AMAZING experience!!!!

This was our favorite outing on Maui this trip!! Boat was ready. Staff was great and the turtles were AWESOME!! We couldn’t have had a better time. They supplied all equipment (except bring a towel)!! Continental breakfast/coffee/juice and hot dog and chips/drinks and a cookie for lunch. Not over the top but truly an AMAZING experience!

Was ok, saw turtles as promised

Ultimately it’s an 1.5 hr of snorkeling, the rest is travel to and from the spot. We did see multiple sea turtles. But, the water was deep so we didn’t see a variety of fish. I saw a couple different ones that swam deeper, but couldn’t make them out. I did appreciate the option for vegetarian lunch.

Maui: Turtle Reef Morning Snorkel Cruise with Breakfast & Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Maui.

How much does Maui: Turtle Reef Morning Snorkel Cruise with Breakfast & Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Maui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Maui: Turtle Reef Morning Snorkel Cruise with Breakfast & Lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Maui is not rushed.

Is Maui: Turtle Reef Morning Snorkel Cruise with Breakfast & Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 555 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Maui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Maui: Turtle Reef Morning Snorkel Cruise with Breakfast & Lunch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Maui: Turtle Reef Morning Snorkel Cruise with Breakfast & Lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Maui: Turtle Reef Morning Snorkel Cruise with Breakfast & Lunch?

    +

Around 194 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Maui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Maui and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Maui: Turtle Reef Morning Snorkel Cruise with Breakfast & Lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Maui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Maui?

    +

Maui's three signature days are the Hana road, the Haleakala summit sunrise and the Molokini snorkel sail, and all three are logistics problems as much as experiences. Sunrise summit entry is permit-controlled, Hana is a ten-hour driving day, and Molokini boats vary wildly in size. Our ranking rewards operators who handle permits and keep boat capacity low. On Outty we rank every Maui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Molokini Crater + South Maui Coast Adventure from Kihei, Maui, Maui: VIP Private Road to Hana Tour with Pick Up, Road to Hana Adventure Maui Tour with Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Maui?

    +

April to May and September to October. Whale season runs December to April. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Maui?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
