Charaf was a joyfull tourguide

We had a amazing experience, the whole trip was great seeing the dessert riding the camels, seeing the canyons. Our tour guide was charaf he was amazing really joyfull, fun to talk with and told us a lot of information about the berber people. Also our driver jawad was great steady driving no sudden stops and everywhere on time. The hotel we stayed in at the first night was really nice. All in all a great experience. Only complaint could be that the lunch stops were a bit expensive but i geuss thats with every tour

Fantastic first part, weaker second half

During our desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, we had a truly excellent experience. Karim (our guide) and Mohamed (our driver) were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always attentive to everyone’s needs. Karim organized everything very well, showed great patience, and made a real effort to keep the group positive and engaged, even during more tiring moments. He also shared interesting information throughout the journey. The local guides we met along the way were equally kind and enjoyable. This part of the trip definitely deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately, the return journey from Marrakech to Fes was quite disappointing. Karim was no longer with us, and the driver was different. The new driver seemed in a constant rush, allowing only very short stops (around 15 minutes), which were not sufficient for basic needs like using the bathroom, getting food, or briefly visiting the locations. He was also not flexible or helpful regarding our requested drop-off point. Additionally, he did not provide any information about the places we passed—many of which we couldn’t properly see—and some planned stops appeared to be skipped. At one point, he even threw an empty bottle out of the window, which was quite unpleasant to witness. This part of the trip could be significantly improved with better time management, communication, and overall consideration for passengers.

Response from the operator: Thank you for entrusting us with the organization of your trip. It was a true honor to accompany you in the desert. Our priority is to ensure your safety and allow you to fully enjoy every moment. We would be delighted to welcome you back for another adventure in Morocco

Marrakech-to-Fes: 3 Days-Tour-via-Merzouga-Desert-&-Camel-Trek: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does Marrakech-to-Fes: 3 Days-Tour-via-Merzouga-Desert-&-Camel-Trek cost?

+

Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Marrakech-to-Fes: 3 Days-Tour-via-Merzouga-Desert-&-Camel-Trek take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is Marrakech-to-Fes: 3 Days-Tour-via-Merzouga-Desert-&-Camel-Trek worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 85 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 1,165 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Marrakech-to-Fes: 3 Days-Tour-via-Merzouga-Desert-&-Camel-Trek?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Marrakech-to-Fes: 3 Days-Tour-via-Merzouga-Desert-&-Camel-Trek suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Marrakech-to-Fes: 3 Days-Tour-via-Merzouga-Desert-&-Camel-Trek?

+

Around 408 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Marrakech-to-Fes: 3 Days-Tour-via-Merzouga-Desert-&-Camel-Trek start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, Agafay Desert Package, Quad Bike, Camel Ride and Dinner Show. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
