Great trip!
We went on this trip last minute after a mix-up with our original plan to go to Ouzoud. Nonethless, we had a lovely time. Communications was smooth and our guide Younes was very friendly and accomadating, considering the last minute plan. We didn't do the hike itself as our children were tired and we have done it before, but we enjoyed the scenic drive, and visitng a Berber home was fascinating. We had a lovely afternoon relaxing by the waterside, drinking tea is this amazingly tranquil place. The food buffet was also plentiful with good options. In all, a great experience was had and definitely recommend for a change of scenery.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted that, despite the last-minute change of plans, you and your family had such an enjoyable day in the Ourika Valley. It’s great to hear that the communication was smooth and that our guide was able to help make the experience comfortable and enjoyable for you. We’re glad you enjoyed the scenic drive, the visit to the Berber home, and the peaceful atmosphere by the riverside. Moments like sharing tea in such a tranquil setting are what make the valley so special. We also appreciate your comments about the lunch and are pleased that you found plenty of good options to enjoy. Thank you for recommending the experience, and we hope to welcome you back for another memorable adventure in Morocco in the future!

Ourika waterfall and river lunch
We had a lovely experience as a family of 4. Our transport was punctual. Our guide Younes was friendly and looked after us all. The hike to the waterfall is good but worth getting at the top. The stops in between the hike made it a good pace. The river lunch was good and had plenty of time to relax. The Berber house is insightful. The only thing that can be better is the airconditioning in the van otherwise it was a good trip for us.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback! We are delighted to hear that you and your family had a lovely time exploring the Ourika Valley with us. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Morocco for another adventure in the future!

Marrakech: Ourika Valley Tour, Waterfalls, Berber Villages &Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Marrakech: Ourika Valley Tour, Waterfalls, Berber Villages &Lunch cost?

Prices start at €15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Marrakech: Ourika Valley Tour, Waterfalls, Berber Villages &Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Marrakech: Ourika Valley Tour, Waterfalls, Berber Villages &Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 58 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Marrakech: Ourika Valley Tour, Waterfalls, Berber Villages &Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Marrakech: Ourika Valley Tour, Waterfalls, Berber Villages &Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Marrakech: Ourika Valley Tour, Waterfalls, Berber Villages &Lunch?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Marrakech: Ourika Valley Tour, Waterfalls, Berber Villages &Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marrakech: 1 Day Tour-Best of Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys, 3 Days Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech with Luxury Camp, Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Waterfall + Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
