Hassan is Great! All 5 Kids wanted to go again!
Hassan is an excellent tour guide, we were a group of 3 friends with 5 kids and everyone loved him. He was even helpful in negotiations that we needed post purchase (Word of advice: don't buy the powder in the Argan oil store and maybe check prices online before you go). I would highly recommend this tour, it was everyone's highlight from the whole trip! All of our kids wanted to do it again!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! I’m really happy to hear that you and your group enjoyed the Ourika Valley experience—especially the kids, that means a lot to me. I also appreciate you sharing your helpful tips for other travelers. It was a pleasure spending the day with you all, and I hope to welcome you again in the future! Best regards, Abdul and Hassan

Abdul tours save the day
We were let down at the last minute by our tour operator. Abdul tours saved the day for us, calling back a trip that had already left so that our day wouldn't be spoilt a lovely guy who did everything he could to save our day.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing with us your lovely comment , and we hoping to see you again for other experiences. Have a Good day , and I’m little bit sad you booked with other agency and they cancel for you, and I bring my transport back to you and I send you in small group only 8 person and I ask you many times if all good and you answer all amazing and you give me 4 stars but not problem hahaha, have a good day

Mountain trip will local crafts demonstrations and lunch by the river.
Local pick up with trip up to the Atlas mountain area. Stopped for local crafts, carpet weaving and a women’s cooperative. Expect a sales pitch and options to buy but there is no pressure at all. The river route is lined with areas to eat. Ours was a fixed price with 3 courses, tasty and freshly cooked. We sat right at waters edge. Fabulous local guide took us up to the waterfall. He was like a mountain goat and very helpful. Steep rocky climb towards end (no proper path) and I’ve seen bigger waterfalls but it was a fun experience and a good laugh.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing with us your lovely comment , and we hoping to see you again for other experiences. Have a Good day

Nice Argan Experience and Waterfalls
Nice experience and hiking, not many hours from Marrakech so it doesn't feel like wasting the full day. Great guys managing the trip. The food passed the test but it was too late for having lunch, so it is not a big thing.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing with us your lovely comment , and we hoping to see you again for other experiences. Have a Good day

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Marrakech: Ourika Valley, Waterfall & Lunch small group tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Marrakech: Ourika Valley, Waterfall & Lunch small group tour cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Marrakech: Ourika Valley, Waterfall & Lunch small group tour take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Marrakech: Ourika Valley, Waterfall & Lunch small group tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Marrakech: Ourika Valley, Waterfall & Lunch small group tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Marrakech: Ourika Valley, Waterfall & Lunch small group tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 14. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Marrakech: Ourika Valley, Waterfall & Lunch small group tour?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Marrakech: Ourika Valley, Waterfall & Lunch small group tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
