What you'll see and do

  1. Manuel Antonio

Meet your guide at the meeting point (Restaurant where Alex), next to the Chalo parking lot, just before the entrance to the National Park) and set out on a guided hike along the forest trails. Look for sloths, iguanas, bats, snakes, monkeys, frogs, toucans and more while you walk. Benefit from the knowledge of a local expert naturalist as you spot creatures you might otherwise have missed. In addition, your guide will use a high-definition telescope and take great photos that he will share with you after the tour. Your tour ends at one of the best beaches in the world, Playa Manuel Antonio, the perfect place to relax or swim at the end of your guided walking experience in the National Park. This is a guided tour service, the entrance ticket to the national park is not included in this activity. You have to buy it on the only official website of the national park.

Best memories

We had a fantastic tour, mainly thanks to Andrey! He spotted so many animals and provided a wealth of interesting information about Costa Rica and its flora and fauna. The tour ended at the beautiful Manuel Antonio beach. We had a great time!

TO FLEE- SCAM AGENCY

ABSOLUTELY RUN AWAY. This agency is a complete scam. We went to the park at 7:15 with a reservation with this scumbag agency. At 9:00 still nobody. No answer to my WhatsApp and phone calls. It is a shame and tarnished the image of the benevolent people of Costa Rica , you will report him to the tourist police for penalization and for withdrawal of his license to operate and demand compensation I do not greet you

Did not show; did not refund.

Steve’s tours did not show. Called me after the tour time was supposed to start and I far been frantically trying to find them at multiple restaurants called “Alex.” Said they couldn’t get my ticket and would refund me. Weeks later I have not received despite my outreach.

Cancelled with 4 days to go

The tour operator cancelled on me four days before the tour and two weeks after I had booked it. This could have been a major problem as the tour included admission to the park which was completely sold out by the time of cancellation. Luckily I was able to find another tour with admission included. But the negligence of this tour operator nearly cost my family the chance to go to the Manuel Antonio Nature preserve on our trip to Costa Rica. Under those circumstances I am surprised (as you can see in the screenshot) that they didn't even apologize.

Great guide, amazing animals

We had a great walk through the Manuel Antonio forest and spotted amazing animals! Our guide Alex was what made our tour different from all the others! You can tell that he is in love what he is doing and he is very knowledgeable and helpful! He made sure we got really good viewing angles on wild animals that we wouldn't be able to see on our own.

Manuel Antonio Park and Mangrove Boat Tour 2x1 ALL INCLUSIVE: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quepos.

How much does Manuel Antonio Park and Mangrove Boat Tour 2x1 ALL INCLUSIVE cost?

+

Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quepos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Manuel Antonio Park and Mangrove Boat Tour 2x1 ALL INCLUSIVE take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quepos is not rushed.

Is Manuel Antonio Park and Mangrove Boat Tour 2x1 ALL INCLUSIVE worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quepos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Manuel Antonio Park and Mangrove Boat Tour 2x1 ALL INCLUSIVE?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Manuel Antonio Park and Mangrove Boat Tour 2x1 ALL INCLUSIVE suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Manuel Antonio Park and Mangrove Boat Tour 2x1 ALL INCLUSIVE?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quepos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quepos and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Manuel Antonio Park and Mangrove Boat Tour 2x1 ALL INCLUSIVE start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quepos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Quepos?

+

On Outty we rank every Quepos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whitewater Rafting Savegre Class II-III plus Waterfall Manuel Antonio, Manuel Antonio Canopy Tour - Longest Twin Zip Line in Central America, Waterfall Ziplining & Canyoning. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Quepos?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Quepos?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
