This is an amazing park....

This is an amazing park. I was here a few years ago and wanted to come back. It is extremely beautiful and with a guide you can find many types of animals. The beach is also extremely pretty. It is one of the nicest that I’ve been to. Our guide, John Pierre was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to spot everything from boa constrictors, to sloths, to two types of monkeys.

Response from the operator: We're so happy you enjoyed the experience from the rainforest all the way to the beach! One of the things we love about Manuel Antonio is being able to combine wildlife, nature, and a little time to enjoy the ocean. Thank you for comming back!

Our tour guide Leo was...

Our tour guide Leo was fantastic. We learned about the history of Costa Rica and different species in the park. We saw sloths, monkeys, iguanas, land crabs, bats, snakes, and more. Leo was highly skilled, knowledgeable and engaging. His enthusiasm and humor made the tour so much fun. We learned a lot on the tour. This was of the best tours I took ever. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and it was wonderful having you on the tour. Pura vida!

Guide is worth it!

Milton was great. Very friendly and enthusiastic but not over the top. Very professional. He made a real effort to catch as many animals as possible with his scope that we never would have seen without the guide. He also shared his extensive knowledge on both plants and animals. I also really liked the tour ending at the beach so we could take our time swimming. This tour met outside the market and it was very straightforward and all the guides know each other so it was easy to find him. We were notified who our guide was ahead of time. On the day we went, it wasn’t as crowded as others are saying… it was very manageable and we saw a ton of animals including both types of sloths, howler monkeys, a toucan, lizards, crabs, tons of birds, fish, bats… worth it to book a guide for sure. One thing, for those traveling internationally, go at 7am. The sun is just too strong in the afternoon to be wandering around comfortably. We did 7am and it was great, we ended up touring from 7-930 and playing at the beach for 2 more hours.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad Milton could make your experience memorable.Reviews like yours motivate us to keep doing what we love and sharing the beauty of this place. Your trust means the world to us, thank you!

Great Guide!

Guide was fantastic - he helped us see all types of animals and did the best he could to avoid crowds. The only downside was the park was super crowded even at 750 in the morning. I learned this was the most popular park in Costa Rica which sometimes made it harder to hear or see things. Not on the guide or tour at all but should be known ahead of time.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that your guide helped you discover so many animals and did his best to find quieter areas and make the experience as enjoyable as possible. You are absolutely right that Manuel Antonio can get very busy, even early in the morning. It is one of the most popular national parks in Costa Rica, so crowds are unfortunately part of the reality of visiting such a well-loved destination. This is also a great reminder for travelers that researching the popularity and expected conditions of a destination before visiting can make a big difference in setting the right expectations. That said, this is exactly where having a knowledgeable local guide makes a difference. Our guides cannot control how many people enter the park, but they can control how they navigate it, where they look, and how they adapt to the conditions, and we are very happy to hear that yours did just that! Thank you again for choosing us and for recognizing the effort our guide put into making your visit special. We truly appreciate your trust! Pura vida!

Manuel Antonio Park Guided Tour - Admission Ticket Included: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quepos.

How much does Manuel Antonio Park Guided Tour - Admission Ticket Included cost?

+

Prices start at $48 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quepos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Manuel Antonio Park Guided Tour - Admission Ticket Included take?

+

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quepos is not rushed.

Is Manuel Antonio Park Guided Tour - Admission Ticket Included worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 280 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quepos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Manuel Antonio Park Guided Tour - Admission Ticket Included?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Manuel Antonio Park Guided Tour - Admission Ticket Included suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Manuel Antonio Park Guided Tour - Admission Ticket Included?

+

Around 98 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quepos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quepos and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Manuel Antonio Park Guided Tour - Admission Ticket Included start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quepos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Quepos?

+

On Outty we rank every Quepos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whitewater Rafting Savegre Class II-III plus Waterfall Manuel Antonio, Manuel Antonio Canopy Tour - Longest Twin Zip Line in Central America, Waterfall Ziplining & Canyoning. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Quepos?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Quepos?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
