    Captain Dallas is the best!

Captain Dallas was the best. The boat was nice and shaded for the hot weather. We saw three manatees, then went out into the Everglades and saw lots of dolphins. He even got one of them to play with the wake behind the boat. He was kind with my special-needs daughter and explained to her personally the area and the animals. He also gave us valuable information about Marco Island and restaurants and Everglades information. It’s a must do!

Captain was great! Very knowledgeable. We saw both dolphins and manatees. It was nice that is was a small boat and not a big crowded one.

A magical moment in time …

Very small group tour - max 6 per boat which is fabulous. Covered boat protection was so valuable in the hot sun. Be sure to have drinks and maybe a snack with you especially if you have kids. Our captain, Joe, was really knowledgeable and knew exactly where to look for alligators - the dolphins and manatees were a little more elusive but he knew exactly when a pair of dolphins were going to play in our wake - and they did! That was a short but magical moment and will stay with me for a long time to come as my first close encounter with dolphins. We did see some manatee “footprints” - circles of bubbles on the water surface but no actual manatees - but that’s nature for you - they don’t come out on command! Plenty of osprey and ibis, as well as a blue heron and an egret. Can highly recommend this trip - went by all too quickly.

Manatee, Dolphin, and 10,000 Islands Eco Beach Tour by Boat: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Manatee, Dolphin, and 10,000 Islands Eco Beach Tour by Boat cost?

    +

Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Manatee, Dolphin, and 10,000 Islands Eco Beach Tour by Boat take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Manatee, Dolphin, and 10,000 Islands Eco Beach Tour by Boat worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 111 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Manatee, Dolphin, and 10,000 Islands Eco Beach Tour by Boat?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Manatee, Dolphin, and 10,000 Islands Eco Beach Tour by Boat suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Manatee, Dolphin, and 10,000 Islands Eco Beach Tour by Boat?

    +

Around 39 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Manatee, Dolphin, and 10,000 Islands Eco Beach Tour by Boat start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

Naples is the launch point for Everglades airboat rides and Ten Thousand Islands boat tours, along with shelling trips, sunset sails off the pier and small-group food walks downtown. On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marco Island and Naples Pedal or Paddle Kayak Tour, Mangrove Tunnels & Mudflats Kayak Tour - Local Biologist Guides, Manatees and Mangrove Tunnels Small Group Kayak Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

November to April, the dry season with the best wildlife viewing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
