This cruise was nice. Needs a bigger pontoon. For the price I feel at least a bottle of water could have been given out. It was warm and a drink would have been nice

    Ok

Only saw birds. Our guide tried to find manatees and dolphins but no luck.

    False advertisement

I searched for a place near Fort Lauderdale, viator shows results of places that are hours away with no indication how far away it is. I selected a place not knowing that they showed results 2 hours away . This was not evident on the booking confirmation until i called for location. Unfortunately, it wS within 24 hour no refund window and thus wasted $250. I talked to.viator and business owner they were unwilling to acknowledge that the distance away from my search area should’ve been provided and thus did not give a refund.

Response from the operator: Good morning, As a small business, we are not in control of Viator and their search engine. The point of departure is clearly stated on our listing under “meeting point and itinerary” as well as on your confirmation email, at the top with your tour, date and time, number of tickets and price. Additionally, you booked on the 14th of July and your tour wasn’t until the 19th of July. You had time to check location and cancellation policy, which is 24 hours in advance. You called hours before and we kindly offered a refund if we could sell the tickets, but we were unable to do so. We tried to help you out but in the end it comes down to the fact that our location and policies are visible and clear.

    (Went in July) would...

(Went in July) would recommend bringing some mosquito or bug spray which I wasn’t aware of. There was a lot of mosquitos out on the beach we went to the for the sunset cruise, and picking shells, as well as quite a few mosquitoes once dusk hit and we would make various stops or go slower on the boat. Every booking experience is different. This trip we did not see any manatees, but did see a couple dolphins and various birds around the area, also a lot of aligators. Captain John made it a great experience. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife, and had a great sense of humor which made it a very fun experience. I would definetly recommend going on sunset cruise and requesting it with captain John if possible.

Manatee, Dolphin and 10,000 Islands Sunset Cruise!: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Manatee, Dolphin and 10,000 Islands Sunset Cruise! cost?

    +

Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Manatee, Dolphin and 10,000 Islands Sunset Cruise! take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Manatee, Dolphin and 10,000 Islands Sunset Cruise! worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 74 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Manatee, Dolphin and 10,000 Islands Sunset Cruise!?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Manatee, Dolphin and 10,000 Islands Sunset Cruise! suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Manatee, Dolphin and 10,000 Islands Sunset Cruise!?

    +

Around 26 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Manatee, Dolphin and 10,000 Islands Sunset Cruise! start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

Naples is the launch point for Everglades airboat rides and Ten Thousand Islands boat tours, along with shelling trips, sunset sails off the pier and small-group food walks downtown. On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marco Island and Naples Pedal or Paddle Kayak Tour, Mangrove Tunnels & Mudflats Kayak Tour - Local Biologist Guides, Manatees and Mangrove Tunnels Small Group Kayak Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

November to April, the dry season with the best wildlife viewing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
