    Family tour and meal

Our tour guide. Ryan was wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. The sustainability and ego friendly practice they use is to be commended. From the smoothies and coconut water (fresh from the cut coconut just for you) to the delish food options, we enjoyed our visit very much. GO NUTS

Appreciate the Farmers in the Farm

Wow! What an amazing place to visit, especially with Ryan as our guide. His passion and in-depth knowledge was mind blowing. He really enjoys what he does and it shows. There were so many beautiful plants, everything from bananas, pineapples, guavas, Romains, basil, bok choy, you name it, they have it. The hydroponics they're doing there is simply incredible. We did get to see the Mac nut trees at the end, but not the bees. It didn't hurt the your, but the name should be more reflective. Something like 'Organic Sustainable Farming of Maui's finest fruits, vegetables, nuts, etc'. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: We’re humbled and so grateful—mahalo nui! Your enthusiasm keeps our guides inspired every single day. Hope Maui calls you back soon!

    Must Do Activity

This experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Maui. We learned so much about native plants, gardening, preservation, history, and so much more. Even got a chance to try some incredibly tasting fruits and vegetables. Their method of sustainable farming is amazing, inspirational, and commendable. And the farm to table lunch at the conclusion of the tour was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the fried rice with kalua pork. And be sure to buy their macadamia nuts. They are the best I have ever tasted. So creamy!! This was positively an enriching and memorable experience.

Response from the operator: We’re beyond happy to hear that you had such a wonderful time on your hike! Maui’s beauty is truly unmatched, and we’re so grateful to share it with guests like you. Mahalo for your review, and we hope to see you on another adventure soon

Macnut Tour, Picnic lunch and Maui Bees: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Maui.

How much does Macnut Tour, Picnic lunch and Maui Bees cost?

    +

Prices start at $165 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Maui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Macnut Tour, Picnic lunch and Maui Bees take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Maui is not rushed.

Is Macnut Tour, Picnic lunch and Maui Bees worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Maui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Macnut Tour, Picnic lunch and Maui Bees?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Macnut Tour, Picnic lunch and Maui Bees suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Macnut Tour, Picnic lunch and Maui Bees?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Maui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Maui and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Macnut Tour, Picnic lunch and Maui Bees start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Maui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Maui?

    +

Maui's three signature days are the Hana road, the Haleakala summit sunrise and the Molokini snorkel sail, and all three are logistics problems as much as experiences. Sunrise summit entry is permit-controlled, Hana is a ten-hour driving day, and Molokini boats vary wildly in size. Our ranking rewards operators who handle permits and keep boat capacity low. On Outty we rank every Maui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Molokini Crater + South Maui Coast Adventure from Kihei, Maui, Maui: VIP Private Road to Hana Tour with Pick Up, Road to Hana Adventure Maui Tour with Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Maui?

    +

April to May and September to October. Whale season runs December to April. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Maui?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
