Horror in cancun
The beverages were terrible the food was scant and each plate was for 2 although nicely presented the downstairs was disgusting the photographer was anoying wanting to take so many pictures and i thought for what it was the price was too high not worth it the staff was nice they ask for your id and voucher twice that was disturbing
Response from the operator: We are sorry about your bad experience, we hope to see you soon.

crappy customer don't book this
We never recrived proper instructions regarding when to arrive for pick. The email stated 530 departure from dock, and we were supposed to be picked up from the hyatt. We arrived in the hotel lobby at 500pm and waited, but nobody showed. Apparently, the driver arrived at 430 waited for 10 min and then left. This was what was explained to me when i called the agent. Nobody called me, nor did they get the hotel i was staying at to contact me. We had a car rental and tried to coordinate driving to the departure point ourselves, but the agent NEVER called us back with the details. when we finally contacted him again, he said it was too late. He then said he would call back to see if a refund could be issued, but NEVER did. We contacted him YET AGAIN to follow up, only for him to say no refund. customer service is non existant. they had my # but decided to not call when they apparently arrived. no excursion tour simply leaves if a paying customer isn't present, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS ARE'NT CLEAR.!!!!!!!!!!!an attempt to text or phone is made. if there is no answer, then fine, but THIS WAS NOT DONE
Response from the operator: Hello we are sorry about your bad experience, we sent you all the information and also your ticket, your pick up time was at 16:30hrs and the departure time was at 17:30hrs , we try to call you 4 times and your phone sent us direct to voicemail. We sent your transportation, they, the driver wait for around 10 minutes and you don’t show up, we have the evidence that we sent you the ticket, we have the record of the calls that we made and the time, and we have the text that we sent you with the information. All the information at the ticket it was very clear, when you call me the first time you told me that you are confused about the time at the ticket because you don’t know if it was at 16:30hrs or 17:30hrs your pick up , and when you call me the second time, now you told me that you never receive a ticket, so it is not congruent.

Terrible experience. Too expensive for terrible quality.
This was not a luxury boat at all. We paid $135 per person and it was a waste. We were given a really small snack box, a very avarage cataraman. We have done many sunset cruises and this was the worst and most expensive. Do not recommend at all. Dissapointed.
Response from the operator: Hello, we are sorry that you had that bad experience, thanks for choosing us and we hope to see you soon. have a good day.

Why this scores 30
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Luxury Sailboat at Sunset in Cancun: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does Luxury Sailboat at Sunset in Cancun cost?
+
Prices start at $136 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Luxury Sailboat at Sunset in Cancun take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is Luxury Sailboat at Sunset in Cancun worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 30 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Luxury Sailboat at Sunset in Cancun?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Luxury Sailboat at Sunset in Cancun suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Luxury Sailboat at Sunset in Cancun?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Luxury Sailboat at Sunset in Cancun start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
