No swimming allowed
As of March 5, their anchor is broken (and it seems it has been for awhile), so despite the description, it is not possible to swim. We were not informed about this prior to the trip (I double checked my messages) so wanted to let other people know ahead of time in case that changes their plans. Not sure whose fault the lack of communication was about this so don’t want to leave them a bad review but more wanted to give an FYI to potential customers.

You are absolutely right that this information should have been clearly communicated in advance. At the time of your visit, we were experiencing an unexpected mechanical issue with our anchor winch system, which temporarily prevented us from safely anchoring the sailboat to allow swimming. While the sailing experience itself continued, we understand that the swimming portion is an important part of the tour description, and you deserved to be informed beforehand so you could decide if the experience still met your expectations. We truly regret that this was not properly communicated to you before your departure. Transparency with our guests is very important to us, and in this case we fell short of the standard we strive to maintain. The issue has since been addressed, and we have also taken internal steps to ensure that any operational changes are communicated clearly to guests in advance, so situations like this do not happen again. We genuinely appreciate the fairness of your review and your willingness to share the information in a constructive way. Feedback like yours helps us improve. If you return to Puerto Vallarta in the future, we would truly appreciate the opportunity to welcome you aboard again and provide the full experience as it is meant to be enjoyed.

Absolutely perfect excursion!!
This was a fantastic experience! Beautiful boat, lovely owner, captain and deck hands, delicious food and drink. With a capacity of 12 guests it was very comfortable. Saw 5 or 6 whale pods and 2 groups of dolphins. Sailing back after following the coast to nearby LaCruz was so special! We will be back!

Fantastic sailing adventure
I booked with them because I liked the nostalgic look of the sailboat. The crew was fabulous and catered to all our needs. The food was great, especially the red snapper! I highly recommend them . I've done other sailing trips but would definitely repeat with ADA Sailing

Excellent Sailing Trip
My husband and I booked this sailboat trip and were very happy with the experience from beginning to end. It was about a 25 minute walk (5-10 minute drive) from where our cruise ship docked for the day which was really convenient. The staff is friendly, gracious, welcoming and kind. The drinks are wonderfully created and presented. I enjoyed the mocktails and my husband enjoyed the regular cocktails. The boat is meticulously cared for and clean. I've never experienced a cleaner bathroom on board a boat. The appetizers and lunch were beautifully presented. Unfortunately, I am prone to sea sickness so I ended up getting sick (no fault whatsoever of the staff). A great big thank you to Isabella who took such good care of me. My husband said she cared for me like a mother. One of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Highly recommend this tour; no hesitation at all!

top notch for sure
This was our 3rd year doing the Ada Charter, We did the evening sunset sail and have done the day time sail 2 other times. This is by far one of our best experiences. The food is excellent and the staff could not be any better. We go to PV every year for the month of March and this is our highlight for sure each year. It has become something that our group looks forward to every year. By far one of the best experiences.
