We unfortunately booked...
We unfortunately booked this ride/trip on the day of summer solstice which is apparently the busiest day of year at Stonehenge. Our driver did not tell us this until picking us up that morning and offering to take us to Windsor Castle instead. While we ultimately were ok with the change of plans, we felt they should have notified us at least the day before. Additionally, for the outrageous cost of the trip, we expected the vehicle to be much nicer than it was. A vehicle with little air conditioning, check engine light on, no charging ports, etc seemed below the $800 cost. Driver was very nice but this one just didn’t quite hit the mark.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you found your driver friendly and appreciated his efforts to offer an alternative solution. Unfortunately, your tour took place on the Summer Solstice, which is the busiest day of the year at Stonehenge. Traffic and visitor numbers can become extremely heavy, and the situation is often difficult to accurately assess until the day itself. As you were arriving from your cruise, we felt it was best for the driver to discuss the available options with you in person once the conditions were clear. Rather than spending a significant portion of the day in traffic, your driver suggested visiting Windsor Castle instead. We appreciate that changing plans wasn't ideal, but we're glad you agreed to the alternative and were able to enjoy your day. We are, however, sorry that the vehicle did not meet your expectations. The issues you mentioned regarding the air conditioning, warning light and charging facilities are not the standard we aim to provide, and we have passed your comments to our operations team so the vehicle can be inspected. Thank you again for your feedback. We value all comments from our guests, as they help us continue improving our service.

Great driver and car!
Joao was prompt, polite and helpful. His car was pristinely clean, and he pointed out some relevant sights leaving Central London. This was one of England's hottest days on record, and the air-conditioning worked fine. Stopped at Stonehenge and greatly appreciated having a nice cool car waiting for us with our luggage enroute to Southampton.

London to Southampton Seaport via Stonehenge
Rather than go directly from London to the Seaport, this gave us the opportunity to see Stonehenge on the way. We had six people in our group in the van while he has plenty of room for luggage. Our driver was on time did a great job on the drive and was very courteous to other drivers, and got us to the Seaport right on time to board our cruise ship. Couldn’t ask for more.

Good driver. Prompt. ...
Good driver. Prompt. Pleasant discussions. This area requires too many letters to continue forward. Fix this.

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
London to Southampton Cruise Port Including Stonehenge: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does London to Southampton Cruise Port Including Stonehenge cost?
+
Prices start at $146 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does London to Southampton Cruise Port Including Stonehenge take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is London to Southampton Cruise Port Including Stonehenge worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule London to Southampton Cruise Port Including Stonehenge?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is London to Southampton Cruise Port Including Stonehenge suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book London to Southampton Cruise Port Including Stonehenge?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does London to Southampton Cruise Port Including Stonehenge start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
