Refund Demand for Misleading, Low‑Quality Oxford Tour
I am writing to express my disappointment with the tour we attended. The experience was not worth the £429 we paid for our family of three adults and three children including a £69 charge for a five‑year‑old, which was unreasonable given the quality of the tour. The tour guide was a student who was new to Oxford and had very limited knowledge of the city. Having lived in Oxford for many years myself, it was clear that much of the information shared was inaccurate or superficial. The tour was advertised as an extended city tour, yet there was no meaningful city exploration, no tour bus, and no proper viewing experience. The entire group of adults and children were disappointed, and the tour lacked substance from start to finish. Several participants returned their headsets halfway through because they were not useful. Instead of an engaging and informative experience, we were left walking around aimlessly, with everyone becoming tired, hungry, and thirsty. Overall, the tour was massively oversold and severely under‑delivered. Given the cost and the poor quality of the experience, I am formally requesting a full refund. Thank you.

With two attractions closed, the Bodleian Library and the Christ Church Cathedral, I felt it overpriced. When emails came out, I was offered a chance to cancel, but I was unaware of how big those were. Tour should have been discounted.
