Historical and cultural discovery of Lisbon

Very good historical tour. We appreciated the two elevators that saved us time and sweat. One suggestion, however: please specify the neighborhood concerned for the 26 points visited for better geographical orientation in the city.

Response from the operator: Merci beaucoup pour votre belle appréciation !

    To be updated...

Problem downloading the audio application (we had to call the help service). Count on more than 2.5 hours if you want to enjoy the explanations, have a drink, or rest a bit... The audio guide has not been updated: an elevator was closed, and we had a bit of trouble finding our way. On the other hand, the explanations of the sites to see are clear.

Self-Guided Tour not up to Par

The self guided tour did not meet my expectations. It was too confusing and hard to follow. I have used these in the past, but this one was nowhere near as good. the info was good, but finding the sites was too difficult. You had to have a working knowledge of Lisbon first for it to be effective. Even using my GPS, we could not find some of the sites. Eventually, we had to give up and just set out on our own. What is needed is better instructions and descriptions of what we are looking for. Also, you need to make it easier to reverse the journey as we were at the end of the tour when we finished an earlier tour. It was just not what I expected from my previous experiences with TripAdvisor.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback — we’re really sorry to hear that the tour didn’t meet your expectations. While the app includes GPS navigation when location services are enabled, we understand that in cities like Lisbon — with winding streets and layered history — it can sometimes be challenging to orient yourself. It's also worth noting that starting the tour from the end, rather than the intended starting point, may have added to the confusion. For the best experience, we recommend beginning at the suggested starting location, where the route and storytelling are designed to flow most naturally. If you ever decide to try TouringBee again in another city, or want help navigating the app, our support team is always ready to assist quickly at support@touringbee.com. We truly appreciate your honesty and hope to offer you a smoother, more enjoyable experience in the future.

Great to save time and see more

The audio guide for Lisbon was a great way to explore the city! I liked how it guided me through different neighborhoods, especially Alfama and Baixa. The stories about the city's history and culture made the whole experience more meaningful. One thing I’d suggest is taking breaks between sections to really enjoy the views and maybe stop for a coffee or pastel de nata along the way. The guide was easy to follow and added a lot of depth to my trip.

Response from the operator: Sounds like you had an amazing time in Lisbon! 😊 We’re thrilled that TouringBee helped you explore Alfama, Baixa, and beyond with engaging stories. And yes—pastel de nata breaks are a must! 🥐☕ Thanks for the tip, recommend us to your friends, and see you on your next adventure! 🌍🎧✨

Discover Lisbon at your own pace

I used the audio guide to explore Lisbon and it was one of the best decisions I made. I loved how I explained the history of the ancient yellow trams and elevators, like the Santa Justa Elevator, which are so iconic in the city. In addition, the guide offered very useful tips on how to get around the city, such as the best time to take Tram 28 without waiting so long in line. It was a perfect way to walk around the city at your own pace and learn without having to worry about missing out on some important story. I recommend it to everyone who wants a deeper and more practical experience in Lisbon.

Response from the operator: ¡Qué alegría leer esto! 🗺️✨

Lisbon Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.

How much does Lisbon Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone cost?

    +

Prices start at $10 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lisbon Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.

Is Lisbon Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lisbon Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Lisbon Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lisbon Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lisbon?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lisbon?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lisbon?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
