    About this experience

Our 7 Hills experience covers Medieval Hills and Romantic Hills. In total, about 12 km of the most challenging areas to complete in any other way in the same period. In the Medieval Hills, we will discover the origins of Lisbon. How it was founded, conquered from the Moors, and a timeline of almost 3,000 years of different civilizations. We will also explore the narrow medieval streets and marvel at the views from the city’s main viewpoints. As far as the Romantic Hills are concerned, as difficult to traverse as the Medieval ones, you will be in contact with a city renewed after the Lisbon earthquake of 1755. This area has beautiful palaces, gardens, and the chicest neighborhoods. Together, Medieval and Romantic Hills form the 7 Hills. The tourist bus and tram don’t even cover 50% of what you can do with us. In 2h/2h30, see all, which, by yourself, would take 2 to 3 days. The more participants per booking, the lower the price per passenger

Glad we took a chance in Lisbon

We bumped in to Dominc (Domingo) walking through a square in Lisbon centre and were a little unsure at first (usual feeling being approached by street sellers). However, he wasn't pushy and we're so glad we took a chance on him. We are NOT big sightseers, we are not historians or city break people, but we had a day to see some sights in Lisbon so took a chance on a 2 hour tour (ended up being nearly 3 in the end, but this was our choice!) Dominic the guide was excellent, he used a bit of music and a couple of You tube videos as he drove around the city and it felt like we were in an interactive tour. He is a real story teller and we're very glad we went, we saw more of Lisbon in one morning and learnt more about the city than wandering around aimlessly (which is what we would have done!) Totally recommend the tour and Dominic the guide.

    Historic Journey

Fantastic and fun experience! In addition to having had a good time with Domingos, I have to emphasize his extreme natural sympathy and knowledge of the history of Portugal and Lisbon. It is definitely a walk to repair

    Fantastic Tour with Dominic!

Dominic was an excellent guide. His knowledge was immense and whilst he was very professional he was also fun. He spent a few house showing us around Lisbon, taking in the historical sights as well as super viewing points over the whole city. It is a fabulous tour enabling you to take in much of the city when you only have limited time. I would highly recommend his tour.

Lisbon's 7 Hills on Tuk-Tuk: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.

How much does Lisbon's 7 Hills on Tuk-Tuk cost?

    +

Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lisbon's 7 Hills on Tuk-Tuk take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.

Is Lisbon's 7 Hills on Tuk-Tuk worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon's 7 Hills on Tuk-Tuk?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lisbon's 7 Hills on Tuk-Tuk suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Lisbon's 7 Hills on Tuk-Tuk?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lisbon's 7 Hills on Tuk-Tuk start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lisbon?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lisbon?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lisbon?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
