    Lisbon Your way!

Our Driver, Amit, picked us up promptly at our hotel and adjusted the schedule to show us places we were interested in, not necessarily all the "touristy" spots. He gave tips on where to eat and shop and even let us explore on our own a short while to feel the flavor of Lisbon "wake up!" (What a difference one hour makes around lunch time!) His car was meticulous and he was patient and knowledgeable for us "weary travelers!" Lisbon was a pleasure to share through the eyes of a local! We enjoyed soooo much better than a "group tour," as you get to see and do what YOU want! Thank you, Amit!

    Don’t Pass This Opportunity Up!

Amit was a wonderful tour guide. He is very polite, courteous, knowledgeable, allowed us sufficient time to see the sights and get photo ops. We booked this as our flight was going to arrive in Lisbon early morning and thought seeing the sights was a great way to fill our time before our rooms would be ready. We were not disappointed. His car was very clean, before we got in it, (sorry Amit for the dirt our shoes left) and very comfortable. His driving was excellent and not once did I feel the need to hit my brake in the back seat. 😉 I would highly recommend this tour or a full day one, if you have time. It is well worth the price.

Response from the operator: Dear Machelle, Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We are delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable experience with Amit. Your kind words about his politeness, knowledge, and exceptional driving skills truly mean a lot to us. We’re glad you chose to spend your time sightseeing with us while waiting for your hotel room, and it’s fantastic to know that it turned out to be such a worthwhile experience. Amit will be thrilled to hear about your appreciation of his clean and comfortable car, as well as the great memories you made during the tour. Your recommendation is the greatest compliment we could receive, and we would be honored to host you again in the future—perhaps for a full-day tour! If there’s anything else we can assist you with, don’t hesitate to reach out. Warm regards, Off We Go Portugal

It’s fantastic to know that you discovered sights you might have missed otherwise and received recommendations that enhanced the rest of your trip. Your 100% recommendation means the world to us, and we’re so happy to have been a part of your adventure in Portugal. Amit will be delighted to know his efforts made your time with us so memorable. If you ever find yourself back in Lisbon—or exploring other parts of Portugal—we’d be honored to host you again. Thank you for choosing Off We Go Portugal! Warm regards, Off We Go Portugal

Lisbon Private Half-Day City Tour with Local Driver-Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.

How much does Lisbon Private Half-Day City Tour with Local Driver-Guide cost?

    +

Prices start at $52 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lisbon Private Half-Day City Tour with Local Driver-Guide take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.

Is Lisbon Private Half-Day City Tour with Local Driver-Guide worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon Private Half-Day City Tour with Local Driver-Guide?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lisbon Private Half-Day City Tour with Local Driver-Guide suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Lisbon Private Half-Day City Tour with Local Driver-Guide?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lisbon Private Half-Day City Tour with Local Driver-Guide start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lisbon?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lisbon?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lisbon?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
