    The best food tour! When...

The best food tour! When they say 18 tastings, they mean it! Our tour guide, Raquel, was super awesome. Very knowledgeable of the food but also the history and culture of the area. She took us through the smaller streets and neighborhoods to really SEE the city area. The elevation wasn’t too bad on this tour. And it didn’t take away from the flavor of the foods. I’ve done many food tours around Europe and this one with Raquel was one of the best ones I’ve been on

Response from the operator: Hi Mary, Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed all the tastings and had such a great time exploring Lisbon’s smaller streets, neighbourhoods, history and culture with Raquel. She will be very happy to know that you considered this one of the best food tours you’ve experienced in Europe. It was a pleasure having you with us and we hope to welcome you back to Portugal someday!

Amazing history, food and drink tour of Lisbon

Brilliant food tour. Lots of stops and history. Great food and plenty of drink offerings. Our guide Raquel was brilliant answered loads of our questions on top of her fantastic knowledge of lisbon and history of Portugal. Also provided us with lots and lots of other recommendations of things to do in our stay in Lisbon.

Response from the operator: Hi Nathan, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed the combination of Lisbon’s history, traditional food and local drinks. It’s fantastic to hear that Raquel’s knowledge, enthusiasm and recommendations helped make your experience even more memorable. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with her. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Lisbon!

    Fun!

This was amazing! Joal showed us Many different areas - outside of the main strips which was wonderful.

Response from the operator: Thank you! Lisbon’s most authentic character is often found away from the main tourist streets, so I’m really happy you enjoyed exploring some of its lesser-known areas!

    Lisbon Food Tour

I experienced the food tour with Joao and he was amazing ! He shared a lot of amazing things about Portugal culture and especially the food. He is also funny hosting the tour. We had like 3 big meals and ended the tour with dessert. It was very filling! Best to go with an empty stomach!

Response from the operator: Come hungry is definitely the best advice for our food tour! 😊 I’m delighted you enjoyed the food and João Ramos sense of humour!

Lisbon Foodie Walk: 18+ Tastings & Local Wines: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.

How much does Lisbon Foodie Walk: 18+ Tastings & Local Wines cost?

    +

Prices start at $43 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lisbon Foodie Walk: 18+ Tastings & Local Wines take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.

Is Lisbon Foodie Walk: 18+ Tastings & Local Wines worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 92 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 640 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon Foodie Walk: 18+ Tastings & Local Wines?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lisbon Foodie Walk: 18+ Tastings & Local Wines suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Lisbon Foodie Walk: 18+ Tastings & Local Wines?

    +

Around 224 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lisbon Foodie Walk: 18+ Tastings & Local Wines start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lisbon?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lisbon?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lisbon?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
