Perfect Evening
After our originally booked event was cancelled, we found this alternative, and booked it. I'm so glad we did. The setting, food, and show made for a perfect evening. The venue was cozy. All tables are close to the entertainers. The food and wine were delicious, and the show was awesome. You can tell that the musicians really enjoy sharing their craft. I would do it all over again.

Not recommended.
This was experience a big disappointment for us. The only good thing was that the music was awesome. As for the bad things, the operator contacted me by text a few hours before the show and stated that the scheduled venue had to close for the evening but they offered us an "upgraded" experience at an alternate venue. Unfortunately, the new show was at 9:30pm as opposed to the 8:00pm time we wanted. We reluctantly agreed as the only alternatives were to reschedule to another night, which we could not do, or cancel. When we got to the venue, they did not have our reservation. After about 30 minutes of waiting, they let us in and said they would work things out with the tour operator. They put us in what appeared to be an unused balcony area. The staff largely ignored us and we made no less than 5 requests for our food and drinks. Being the only ones upstairs, we watched as all the other tables got their food. The show started and as we asked again about our food, they said they could not serve during the performance. After the first break in the show, about 11:00pm, and another request, they finally brought our food which was cold and dry. Just an overall awful night for us. My recommendation would be to have dinner somewhere good and find a Fado show and just listen to the music. There are many Fado places throughout the city.

Wow - Amazing experience!
Don’t miss out on a Fado dinner! The food was wonderful, the host was very welcoming and knowledgeable about Fado, the wine and food. We gave us a tour of the rest of the building that is still being remodeled. Our dining area was quaint and cozy. It will be amazing when all of their rooms are done. And the music…..wow! Beautiful guitars, beautiful voices that will give you chills! Highly recommend!

Dinner & Fado
Wow, what amazing customer service provided to us by the local operator Friars' Table - Casa de Fados for our Lisbon: Dinner with Fado Show with the Rising Stars of Fado booking! After being delayed overnight due to a mechanical problem with our plane and missing our booked dinner & fado, we were treated to an experience of a lifetime! Not only were we able to rebook for another evening without any extra cost but several individuals reached out to us to check in and confirm our new booking (Thank you to Guilherme & Sonia ). When we arrived, we were informed that we were the only two guests scheduled for this show and that we had the whole place to ourselves! Three soulful singers performed for us as they were accompanied by two other individuals on a regular and a Portugese guitar. The dinner provided to us was delicious and to make the evening extra special, everyone joined in singing a belated happy birthday to my husband! I cannot say enough about our host, Bruno - he was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make this night memorable! We can’t wait to come back in the future for an evening of dinner & fado in Lisbon!

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Lisbon: Dinner with Rising Stars of Fado at Canto do Poeta: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does Lisbon: Dinner with Rising Stars of Fado at Canto do Poeta cost?
+
Prices start at $28 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lisbon: Dinner with Rising Stars of Fado at Canto do Poeta take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.
Is Lisbon: Dinner with Rising Stars of Fado at Canto do Poeta worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon: Dinner with Rising Stars of Fado at Canto do Poeta?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lisbon: Dinner with Rising Stars of Fado at Canto do Poeta suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lisbon: Dinner with Rising Stars of Fado at Canto do Poeta?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lisbon: Dinner with Rising Stars of Fado at Canto do Poeta start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
