Too bad, honesty takes the longest
Was called 45 minutes in advance and apped that there would be too much wind and if we could another day. We couldn't, so it didn't happen. It was the day with the least wind all week. Since there were only two of us, my thought is that they didn't think it was true to go for only two people. In itself understandable but say that and don't lie about too much wind. I grew up with sailing so I know a lot about wind and boating.
Response from the operator: We fully respect your opinion, but we must clarify that this cancellation was made purely for safety reasons and not because the booking had only 2 participants. Being the “least windy day of the week” does not automatically mean conditions are safe for a small boat tour in Arrábida. Local sea conditions, wind direction, swell, waves near the cliffs and passenger comfort are all factors we evaluate carefully before operating. As professionals working in this area daily, we do not make these decisions lightly. We understand the disappointment, especially when plans cannot be rescheduled, but we will never risk operating a tour when conditions are not considered safe enough, regardless of group size or financial impact to our company. Safety has always been and will always remain our priority.

Adventure not far from Lisbon
It was a lovely tour along an amazingly beautiful coastline. The boat is small, which is good, because you get to talk with each other and the guides, who btw are super nice and accomodating. We tried finding some dolphines, but didn't find any, they are wild animals after all. We anchored for a while infront of a cave, where some went for a swim, so bring your stuff for that, and snacks and wine from Alentejo was also provided. It was a delicios little picnic. Sètubal is easily reached from Lisbon by train, which is an adventure as well, because you cross the bridge and you get to see some countryside outside of Lisbon. It was my second time in Sètubal, it's a lovely city, with some sites but mostly it's got good food, so stay there after the tour. All in all, I highly recommend to see something outside of Lisbon!

The best of our holidays!
This tour was amazing, definitely the highlight of our holidays! I would go again tomorrow if possible :) During this experience we saw beautiful landscapes along the coast of Arrábida, passed through several caves, dived in that refreshing water and had on board local drinks and snacks. We were lucky to see dolphins, which was amazing! The guides were great, super informative, friendly and we ended up making two friends in Portugal! 5 stars

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Lisbon: Boat Tour in Paradise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Setubal District.
How much does Lisbon: Boat Tour in Paradise cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Setubal District usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lisbon: Boat Tour in Paradise take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Setubal District is not rushed.
Is Lisbon: Boat Tour in Paradise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Setubal District, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon: Boat Tour in Paradise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lisbon: Boat Tour in Paradise suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Lisbon: Boat Tour in Paradise?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Setubal District can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Setubal District and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lisbon: Boat Tour in Paradise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Setubal District within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Setubal District?
+
On Outty we rank every Setubal District experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sesimbra: Arrábida Dolphin and Whale Watching tour with biologist, Sesimbra : Guided Kayak Tour in Arrábida Natural Park & Caves, Observation of Dolphins and Whales with Marine Biologist in Arrábida. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Setubal District?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Setubal District?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
