I had to cancel at the last minute due to changes in plans. The driver wasn’t notified in time and showed up on time based on my previous request. He was very pleasant and understanding that I needed to cancel. My apologies having to cancel at the minute.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind review. We completely understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and we're glad to hear that our driver was pleasant and accommodating despite the last-minute cancellation.

Ride from Lisbon cruise terminal to local hotel

Our driver was waiting right outside the cruise terminal. He had a sign with my name on. It couldn’t have been any easier.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We're delighted to hear that your transfer was smooth and hassle-free. We hope to welcome you again on a future journey!

Great service on our Lisbon airport-to-hotel transfer

We were greeted at the airport with staff there who got us to our meeting point and into the minivan quickly. Instructions provided when I booked this transfer were clear so we found them without difficulty in an airport that we had never visited before - that's important. The driver was friendly and informative, giving us tips and info. during our ride. A very good experience!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words! We're very happy to hear that your airport transfer experience was smooth and enjoyable. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to serving you again in the future!

Miscommunication between Viator and transport operator

The transport was not at the cruise port to pick us up. It was a good thing that a port staff helped us to contact the transport operator. I was told my name was not in the list for the pickup. The port staff got an Uber and we were able to get to our hotel. Unfortunately we missed our tour.

Response from the operator: We are sorry to hear about your experience. After reviewing the situation, please be assured that you will be reimbursed. We appreciate your understanding and are truly sorry that your experience did not meet the standard of service we strive to provide.

    No show for pickup!

Booking confirmed an 8:30am pickup at Lisbon Cruise terminal. Driver never showed. Called Viator and was told that driver was assigned a 9:15 am pickup time. Viator finally got a different driver to pick us up 45 minutes after our original pickup time. Replacement driver was excellent. Extremely disappointed in Viator service!

Response from the operator: We are sorry to hear about your experience and the confusion regarding the pickup time. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and for not meeting the standard of service we aim to deliver. Thank you for your feedback and understanding.

Lisbon Airport or Cruise Port: Private Arrival Transfer to hotels: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.

How much does Lisbon Airport or Cruise Port: Private Arrival Transfer to hotels cost?

    +

Prices start at $6 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lisbon Airport or Cruise Port: Private Arrival Transfer to hotels take?

    +

Plan for about 0.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.

Is Lisbon Airport or Cruise Port: Private Arrival Transfer to hotels worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 540 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon Airport or Cruise Port: Private Arrival Transfer to hotels?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lisbon Airport or Cruise Port: Private Arrival Transfer to hotels suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Lisbon Airport or Cruise Port: Private Arrival Transfer to hotels?

    +

Around 189 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 0.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lisbon Airport or Cruise Port: Private Arrival Transfer to hotels start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lisbon?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lisbon?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lisbon?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
