Highly recommend!! Amazing
We had the most amazing trip trekking with Namaste Nepal and I couldn’t recommend them more. They sorted everything for us from start to finish and we were so well looked after. We did the Langtang trek which was incredibly beautiful. It was our first time trekking and our guide, Tapa was great at setting a good pace for us and looking after us at high altitude. Plus incredibly funny and telling us lots about Nepal and its history. Sudip, our porter was also fantastic keeping us laughing as we climbed and dancing and singing to us through the mountains. Everything was so well operated and we didn’t have to think about anything on the trip because our accommodation, food, transport was all sorted for us by Namaste Nepal. So sad it’s over and already planning our next trip with them! Thank you!
Response from the operator: Dear Eliza, Thank you for such a heartfelt review! I’m so glad to hear your first trekking experience was so enjoyable and our team made it memorable with their knowledge, humor, and care. The Langtang region truly is beautiful, and it’s wonderful to know you felt well looked after the whole way. We’d be thrilled to welcome you back for another adventure—already looking forward to it! Warm regards, Rajan

Langtang Trek
Very good and competent organization by Rajan. We could clearly notice that there was a personal experience of the routes discussed. Everything has arrived, as Rajan predicted. We were totally lucky with the weather, our guide Roman set a great pace and chose just the right speed for us through his mountain experience. We were completely satisfied and would book a trek from Rajan and team again at any time.
Response from the operator: Dear Ronald, Namaste! Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m delighted to hear that you had a great experience with us and that everything went as expected. We work hard to ensure every trek is well-organized and enjoyable, so it’s wonderful to know you felt comfortable with the pace and guidance from our Guide Roman. We’d be thrilled to welcome you back anytime for another adventure! Safe travels until then!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Langtang Valley Trek from Kathmandu: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Langtang Valley Trek from Kathmandu cost?
+
Prices start at $1,110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Langtang Valley Trek from Kathmandu take?
+
Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Langtang Valley Trek from Kathmandu worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Langtang Valley Trek from Kathmandu?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Langtang Valley Trek from Kathmandu suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 192-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Langtang Valley Trek from Kathmandu?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Langtang Valley Trek from Kathmandu start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
