Excellent Value and Outstanding Service with BANFF MADTOURS
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 My experience with BANFF MADTOURS was truly excellent value for money! Although it was one of the most affordable tours available on the platform, the quality of the service was never compromised. Banff Madtours genuinely cares about its guests and makes every effort to accommodate their needs. Our group had many requests, but our guide, Lam, remained patient and did everything he could to help us while paying close attention to our safety throughout the tour. The photography service was another wonderful surprise. The photos taken for us were so beautiful that everyone in our group lined up to have their pictures taken! We also learned many interesting facts and stories along the way, making the entire journey both enjoyable and informative. Banff Madtours offers great service at an affordable price. This tour was truly worth every penny—highly recommended!💯💯💯💯💯

Absolutely disgusting company who lets people way too close to a local wildlife. Should have licence suspended
Absolutely disgusting company who lets people way too close to a local wildlife. Should have their licence suspended
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. However, you were not our customer and did not join our tour, so you did not know the full situation. BANFF MADTOURS does not allow or encourage customers to get close to wildlife. We always remind our guests to respect wildlife, keep a safe distance, and follow Parks Canada rules. It appears there have been a misunderstanding, and that people you saw near the wildlife were assumed to be our customers when they were not. Wildlife safety is very important to us, and we take this responsibility seriously. Best regards, BANFF MADTOURS

More Than Just a Tour – An Experience We’ll Never Forget!
We booked this tour after reading the great reviews, and now we completely understand why so many people recommend BANFF MADTOURS. Our guide, Lam, was fantastic from start to finish. He was very friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about everyone in the group. He also has a great sense of humor, so there were lots of laughs throughout the day. During the drive, he shared so many interesting stories and historical facts about Banff National Park, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and the Canadian Rockies. It made the scenery even more meaningful because we understood the history behind what we were seeing. What really sets this tour apart is Lam’s photography. Everyone wants beautiful photos when visiting a place as stunning as Banff, and Lam went above and beyond to make sure we all got them. We probably asked him to take hundreds of photos, but he never looked impatient or rushed us. Instead, he carefully chose the best angles, adjusted our poses, and even waited for the perfect moment to avoid crowds. You can really tell he enjoys helping his guests create lasting memories. The funniest moment of the day was when people from another tour group saw Lam taking our photos. They were so impressed that they actually came over and asked if he could take pictures for them too! We all had a good laugh, but honestly, after seeing the results, we completely understood why. This tour is incredible value for money. It felt much more personal than a typical sightseeing tour, and we left with not only unforgettable memories but also so many amazing photos that we’ll treasure forever. We’ve already decided to come back this winter to join Lam’s Ice Bubble Lake tour, and we can’t wait. If you’re looking for a tour that combines breathtaking scenery, fascinating history, lots of fun, and a guide who truly cares about giving you the best experience possible, BANFF MADTOURS is the one to book. Highly recommended!

Lake Louise Moraine Lake Johnston and Banff Option Bow Cascade: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Calgary.
How much does Lake Louise Moraine Lake Johnston and Banff Option Bow Cascade cost?
+
Prices start at $73 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Calgary usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lake Louise Moraine Lake Johnston and Banff Option Bow Cascade take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Calgary is not rushed.
Is Lake Louise Moraine Lake Johnston and Banff Option Bow Cascade worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Calgary, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lake Louise Moraine Lake Johnston and Banff Option Bow Cascade?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lake Louise Moraine Lake Johnston and Banff Option Bow Cascade suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lake Louise Moraine Lake Johnston and Banff Option Bow Cascade?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Calgary can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Calgary and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lake Louise Moraine Lake Johnston and Banff Option Bow Cascade start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Calgary within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Calgary?
+
On Outty we rank every Calgary experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Explore Banff National Park Premium Day Trip, Discover Banff National Park - Premium Day Trip, Day of Dinosaurs & Hoodoos from Calgary to Drumheller Badlands. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Calgary?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Calgary?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
