Best City Tour experience
Daniel Lovato was an amazing tour guide, he was very specific with explaining where we were and where we’re going. He made the trip fun and the experience was a great one. Definitely would recommend him for future experiences.

I don't recommend it, it's a terrible tour
They take you to Balandra beach, and they don't let you enjoy it, they give you a very short time to stay, you don't have time to go to the mushroom and then to the viewpoint. They rush you in a hurry to take you to lock yourself in 3 stores without knowing anything about the little towns. Obviously they have a sales commission and they are not interested in you knowing. In La Paz it is a pearl store, in Todo Santos a tequila store and on the way a weaving store. They make a stop to eat. They take you to a restaurant where they also have a commission and the food is horrible, plus the place is ugly. It's the worst tour I've ever taken.
Response from the operator: Muchas Gracias por su comentario. Saludos,

English in a Spanish tour.
I booked an English tour and we were the only English speaking people on the tour. A very tough day. It was a very long day with a couple of bright spots; the beach was amazing and Santos was a wonderful town we would have liked to explore further.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your time to post a comment. The Tour was guided by our Star Guide Daniel who gave the same Information to the Spanish Speaking guests and the the English speaking guests. We are happy to read that you enjoyed Balandra Beach and Todos Santos.

Wasted Day
I have taken many Viator tours over the years. This is the first time I have ever left a negative review. I waited 3 days to just make sure I wasn't overreacting. Our tour began with the driver being 10 minutes late picking us up at our Villa. This doesn't seem like a big deal; however, it changed the course of our day. We drove to Balandra Beach only to be met with an hour's wait on the van to try to get into the beach area. They only allow a maximum of 300 visitors at a time on the beach, and we did not make it in time to be one of the 300. We waited in the van for one hour only to be turned around and told to come back in 30 minutes. We were taken to a nearby beach, and our group decided it was best to stay there the entire time instead of taking the chance of having to wait again in a long line just to be turned around again. We stayed at the nearby beach for 1 1/2 hours. Then we drove 15 minutes to a rest area (there were rest areas at the beach, so I wonder why we needed to stop at this one). We then drove to La Paz and had 45 minutes to spend in the town. This wasn't enough time to see anything except the boardwalk area. If you went to the Pearl presentation, you had even less time to view the city. After La Paz, we were driven to a nearby restaurant with very mediocre food. The restaurant was nothing special and we were taken in through a side door, so there was no view, ambiance, etc. After finishing lunch, we drove 30 minutes to a gas station and spent about 15 minutes there for gas and restrooms. We then drove to Todos Santos (Hotel California). This was a great area with many shops and restaurants. However, we were only given 35 minutes to spend here. We would have loved to be able to spend more time and even have lunch in this area. We then loaded the van to make our way back to Cabo. I wonder if the van driver was the guide because he gave very little information about any town or area. Most of what he did say was in Spanish and we couldn't understand him. It was our last day in Cabo, and all of us were disappointed and felt like we wasted our last day in a van, unable to see what was planned. Had we known there was a possibility of an hour wait (or longer or even being turned away) on the van to see Balandra Beach, we would have never booked this trip. The driver told us this wait was common. Also, the air conditioner didn't work for part of this trip, and it was extremely hot. So disappointed in this entire experience.

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
La Paz City Tour from Cabo: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.
How much does La Paz City Tour from Cabo cost?
+
Prices start at $139 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does La Paz City Tour from Cabo take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.
Is La Paz City Tour from Cabo worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule La Paz City Tour from Cabo?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is La Paz City Tour from Cabo suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book La Paz City Tour from Cabo?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does La Paz City Tour from Cabo start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?
+
On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Los Cabos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
