    Beautiful!

Beautiful island tour. Didn't know de la gomera was so beautiful. If you would go with your own car, you will still miss some highlights. And the excellent explanation of the guide. Unfortunately it was not in Dutch, as promised when booking. Only Spanish and English.

    Island tour of La Gomera

We were actually staying in La Gomera and did our bus tour from there. The guide was very good, there were only 4 of us who were English, so we sat at the front and she explained the history etc to us, then afterwards she used the microphone and did the rest in German. We stopped and had a walk through part of the forest to see all the views which was very nice. We then stopped at a very small pottery where you could purchase things if you so wished. Later we stopped at a restaurant for lunch (price not included in the trip) and had a look round the visitors centre. We then headed back to Valle Gran Rey where our trip started from.

Response from the operator: Oldched thank you so much for your review and experience on the tour. Kind regards

    Stunning

Stunning views. Excellent and very knowledgeable guide. The actual trip and guide were amazing. I was disappointed however that just a couple of days beforehand I was emailed to say they wouldn't be picking us up and that we had to make our own way by bus to a hotel that we didn't know. Everyone else was picked up at their own hotels. This made it a little stressful beforehand.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review Naomi. The pick up handicap was because you was staying "out" of the main area of pick up. A part from that I'm really glad you had enjoyed the trip. Kind regards. Eliazar Rodríguez

    Less of the Aloe

La Gomera was a lovely island but the tour felt very much bus based. The longest stop was an aloe farm sales pitch which was a very disappointing waste of time when you are only visiting for a day it also wasnt on the itinerary when booking. The town of Hermigua look nice but missed as only the aloe farm was visited The forest stop in the national park was nice but far too short to go for much sightseeing. The photo stops were nice and the local whistling language display was very impressive. San Sebastian stop at the end was nice and there was time for a bit of sightseeing.

Response from the operator: Hello James thank you for your review. If you want to spent more time on each stop, I recommend you a tour with a reduce group. I will be glad to help you. Kind regards Eliazar Rodriguez

Scam! Don’t book this, it’s not private.

Private tour!? What a scam. We where stuffed in a completely filled bus with 50 other people. Don’t book this, you pay extra and it’s absolutely not private. What a waist of money, time and energy.

Response from the operator: Hi Sanne, you didn't pay any extra money, a private tour only for you cost three or four times more than what you have paid. A part from that as I wrote you on the email we already changed the word "Private tour" not to have more misunderstanding in the future. I'm sorry for that. Eliazar Rodriguez

La Gomera Island Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.

How much does La Gomera Island Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does La Gomera Island Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.

Is La Gomera Island Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule La Gomera Island Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is La Gomera Island Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book La Gomera Island Tour?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does La Gomera Island Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tenerife?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tenerife?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tenerife?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
