    Nice experience

Beautiful island, worth the trip. The guide and driver were very knowledgeable, and the trip was well organized. We truly enjoyed our excursion. I would have love to have more time at the Garajonay Park for a short hike, but we were given only 30 minutes total. The food portions are small.

Response from the operator: Hello Maryi, Thank you very much for your lovely review! 😊 We're delighted that you enjoyed discovering the beauty of La Gomera and that our guide and driver helped make your day so enjoyable. We appreciate your suggestions regarding more time at Garajonay National Park, but since there is so much to see in one day, and so much time required on the road, we cannot allocate any more time, to make it on time to catch the ferry back to Tenerife. We thank you for your comments about the lunch portions and will share them with our restaurant partner as part of our ongoing commitment to improving our tours, and hope to welcome you back soon for another unforgettable adventure in the Canary Islands! 🌿🌴

worth doing not sure if cip

long day and lots of time on the bus but a beautiful island and national forest to visit. good to experience but could have done with more stops and smaller bus with smaller group Vip depends what you want you get on first and you have your own part of the ferry and something to eat in with it on the ferry so depends what your after for if it’s worth doing vip or not

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We're delighted that you enjoyed discovering the beauty of La Gomera, with its lush forests, breathtaking landscapes and rich history 😊 As you mentioned, we also offer a VIP option with a smaller vehicle, allowing access to places that larger coaches cannot reach, as well as a more personalised experience with additional stops and services. While it comes at a higher price, whether it's worth the extra cost depends on each traveller's preferences. We're delighted to know you recognised that both options offer a fantastic way to experience this beautiful island ✨

Great day. Pick up point confusion

Apart from being given the wrong pickup point in all communications from booking until the day before and being sent my pickup point by text on the morning of the trip. It was great. The guide and the driver was really goid. We had plenty of stops for photos and the 3 course lunch was lovely.

Response from the operator: Hello Steve, thank you very much for such an amazing review of our tour. We have checked our booking system and a confirmation email was sent to you on the 7th of Feb, the day you booked the tour, with the correct pickup information, but we understand this may have landed in your spam box, hence the confusion. Regarding the tour in itself and the lunch, we will certainly pass your kind words to our team, and we look forward to welcoming you again soon for another great experience around this beautiful island of Tenerife! 😊

Love La Gomera + GREAT guide and bus driver!

I thoroughly enjoyed this trip; La Gomera is beautiful (you do need to love nature and… heights), but the same goes for our guide Ildefonso (a true Canarian, born and bred here, who speaks perfect English): probably the best guide I’ve ever had on a sightseeing tour!! 🖤 A genuinely lovely and kind man, with a wealth of interesting knowledge and a (truly brilliant) sense of humour, but you can also constantly sense his sincere love for this region and for his job; his background is unknown but he looks truly cut out for this job; it was a delight from the very first moment to the very last. He also has a sort of ‘fatherly’ concern for the group of tourists in his care. In a word, I think he’s a ‘natural’. I have done several excursions in this region but never had a guide like Ildefonso (I hope I spell his name correctly and I would have loved to tip him when we said goodbye, but unfortunately he quickly left the bus earlier than I did when we were back in Tenerife). Not to mention: the bus driver who drove us all day long along those dangerously high cliffs – huge respect for this bloke! Lunch was included and was typical local lunch: not bad! and the restaurant was pretty nice too (I've seen much worse!!) In short; I enjoyed this tour and I am not easily satisfied! 🫣🤭

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful and heartfelt review! 🖤 We are absolutely delighted to hear how much you enjoyed discovering the beauty of La Gomera and that Ildefonso made such a special impression on you. Your kind words about his knowledge, humour, passion and care for the group truly mean a lot, and we will make sure he receives your lovely comments. We also greatly appreciate your recognition of our driver’s incredible work on those challenging roads, as well as your positive remarks about the local lunch. Knowing that someone “not easily satisfied” enjoyed the tour so much is the best compliment we could receive! 😊 We hope to welcome you again soon for another unforgettable adventure in the Canary Islands. 🌴✨

    Very disappointing

This is *not* a tour—it’s a string of ads for Fred Olsen, with quick photo stops and constant pushes to buy food, drinks, and souvenirs. Even the “National Park” is just a brief walk to another snack bar. FYI: Puerto de la Cruz pickup was at 6:40am, off the ferry at 11—over half the 12-hour day is spent waiting or in transit. For an authentic experience, stay on Tenerife and visit Anaga. This was the most disappointing Viator I have ever taken. Save your money.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that the itinerary is designed to show several key highlights in a single day, which naturally involves travel time and short stops at different locations. These stops are planned to give a varied overview of the destination rather than focusing on just one area. Regarding the mentions of promotions or optional services, these are always offered as additional choices for guests who wish to enhance their experience, but they are never mandatory. We understand that this type of excursion may not suit everyone, especially if you are looking for a slower or more in depth visit to a specific area. Your feedback is appreciated and helps us continue improving.

La Gomera Full Day Tour from Tenerife with ferry and lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.

How much does La Gomera Full Day Tour from Tenerife with ferry and lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does La Gomera Full Day Tour from Tenerife with ferry and lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.

Is La Gomera Full Day Tour from Tenerife with ferry and lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 107 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule La Gomera Full Day Tour from Tenerife with ferry and lunch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is La Gomera Full Day Tour from Tenerife with ferry and lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book La Gomera Full Day Tour from Tenerife with ferry and lunch?

    +

Around 37 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does La Gomera Full Day Tour from Tenerife with ferry and lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tenerife?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tenerife?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tenerife?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
