Nice little walk with reindeer.
Pleasant walk with reindeer (we are 2/sled dragged by a reindeer. Each reindeer is attached to the front sled. The first reindeer is held by a rope by the healers who walk next door). They are happy to share their knowledge and answer questions. On arrival we were able to give lichen (treats++) to the reindeer. Then we could warm up in a teepee around a fire with hot juice and cookies. And here again nice exchange with the caregivers. The reindeer park looks clean and the reindeer look well cared for.

NOT RECOMMENDED- HIGHLY COMMERCIAL
NOT RECOMMENDED I would not recommend stay Lapland for this activity. We booked from them and were disappointed. When we check in there were no proper briefing about how things will be processed and when we asked our guide he said it his first day hence he has no idea what needs to be done. They drove us at the point which was almost 30 min drive and we waited for another 30 min in the TP. The ride was less than 5 min and not worth at all. We didnt even get to click the picture with Reindeer. It was highly commercial and simply waste of time and money.

A wonderful day
It was a great experience, we took the full day excursion with Husky and reindeer with lunch included, while preparing in the morning the message came that due to the intense cold (-30) the ride would be shorter and initially I was a bit 'sorry, but my concerns disappeared when we met Alessia an Italian girl who explained the importance that the Finns have in the welfare of reindeer. We started our day in a mini van we sat in front and enjoyed the trip while we went to the farm about 2 hours from Rovaniemi and already the trip was exciting all completely white with sunlight starting to show up, once we arrived we made the sleigh ride and once finished they made us feed the reindeer, there is always a fire lit to keep warm all the participants of the activity, for lunch there was salmon soup (delicious) and butter bread, but Alessia was so cute to bring even cookies and marshmallows to roast on the fire. After lunch we went sledding with the Huskies and it was just great, the dogs run fast and the cold is felt but the forest we stayed in also makes the cold pass, it was magical, unfortunately I have no photos because at the height of the lake we reached -34 and take out the phone to make a short video was impossible, but at the same time we enjoyed the experience with our own eyes and just like children were full of wonder. At the end of the sleigh ride we petted the dogs that are very sociable jump on you and love cuddles, we were quite cold after the ride because the Huskies run fast and also in this case the professionalism of Alessia was not lacking, she warmed us herself by putting her hands in the heat of the fire and then transfer them to our feet and make us regain sensitivity. I will remember this day forever.

Huskies and reindeer with young children.
We did a combined huskies and reindeer activity and the experience was great. We went as a family with two young children and enjoyed it very much. Our guide Andoni treated us great. As part of improving would indicate the clothes they lend, is not in very good condition, and in the reindeer part we would have liked to be with our two children but when going 4 adults separated us 2 adults with 1 child, and did not let us sit 1 child and 1 adult. In the huskies if it was the four of us together.

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Kuoksa Reindeer Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rovaniemi.
How much does Kuoksa Reindeer Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $224 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rovaniemi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Kuoksa Reindeer Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rovaniemi is not rushed.
Is Kuoksa Reindeer Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rovaniemi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Kuoksa Reindeer Adventure?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Kuoksa Reindeer Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Kuoksa Reindeer Adventure?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rovaniemi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rovaniemi and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Kuoksa Reindeer Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rovaniemi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rovaniemi?
+
On Outty we rank every Rovaniemi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Northern Lights Rovaniemi: Guaranteed Viewing & Unlimited Mileage, Rovaniemi: Korouoma Canyon & Frozen Waterfalls Tour with BBQ, Rovaniemi:%100 Guaranteed Northern Lights Hunt&Free Photos. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rovaniemi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rovaniemi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
