Thanut Is The Best
Thanut really is the best tour guide we have ever had. We (family of three) spent 11 hours with him exploring Kulen Mountain, swimming in sacred water under a waterfall, seeing the Linga River, Reclining Buddha, Beng Meala temple, seeing the Floating Village and more. Thanut is EXTREMELY knowledgeable on all topics, in addition to just being a joy to be around. He is as kind as he is charming. We had a few hour long rides between sites, but the drives didn't feel long at all because he is so lovely and easy to talk to. He thinks through every detail, down to cold refreshing lemongrass scented hand towels and cold water provided after each site. All this for a very reasonable price. I really can't recommend hiring him as your guide more. In addition to all this, you will be supporting a small local business.

A great tour out of Siem Reap
As a family group of 9 we did a few days with Thanut tour's. Thanut and his team created the perfect itinerary for us to the Kulen mountains ( and one of the fishing villages after). Perfectly paced and with just the right amount of walking we managed to see a lot during our time there Very adaptable to our needs, the two families had a great time at the different sites and spent just the right time at each place. Thanut and the guide he had for us, Voleak, are really calm and charming people that have a foundation of knowledge that kept us and the children interested throughout the day
Response from the operator: Dear Dominic B, Thank you so much for your lovely review! It was such a pleasure spending those days with your wonderful family. 😊 I’m really happy to hear that the itinerary to Kulen Mountain and the fishing village felt perfectly paced and suited both families. Traveling with a group of 9 — especially with children — is all about balance, so I’m glad the mix of walking, exploring, and relaxing time worked well for everyone. I’ll be sure to share your kind words with Voleak too. He’ll be so pleased to know his knowledge and calm, friendly style helped keep both the adults and kids engaged throughout the day. Thank you again for trusting us with your family adventure. It truly means a lot, and we’d love to welcome you all back to Cambodia anytime! Best Wishes Thanuttours

Best Guide in Cambodia!
Had an amazing time with Thanut!!! First day went to Siem Reap with Suk as our guide and was amazing. Second day, went to waterfalls in the mountain. Very unique experience with Thanut having been there much growing up and had great lunch and fantastic time. 100% would recommend Thanut to everyone for anything in Siem Reap.
Response from the operator: Dear Oren L, Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Thanut! It’s great to hear that you had an amazing time exploring Siem Reap with him as your guide. The first day with Suk sounds wonderful, and I'm glad you enjoyed your time! Visiting waterfalls in the mountains with Thanut must have provided a unique and memorable experience, especially with his personal connections to the area. A fantastic meal is always a bonus when traveling! Your recommendation means a lot, and I appreciate your enthusiasm. I’ll definitely keep Thanut in mind for anyone looking to explore Siem Reap. It's always reassuring to hear about trusted guides from fellow travelers! Thanks again for sharing your experience! Best, Best regards Thanuttours

Kulen Mountain Waterfalls the National Park: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does Kulen Mountain Waterfalls the National Park cost?
+
Prices start at $189 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Kulen Mountain Waterfalls the National Park take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is Kulen Mountain Waterfalls the National Park worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Kulen Mountain Waterfalls the National Park?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Kulen Mountain Waterfalls the National Park suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Kulen Mountain Waterfalls the National Park?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Kulen Mountain Waterfalls the National Park start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap, 2 Days Guided Historical Tour in Angkor, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
