Great trip worth the €. On the shorter side but well worth it

Great trip, well spent time and money. We got to see everything on the schedule. The guide Dorian was amazing, helpful and very charismatic. Time wise shorter but accurate to what is said on the guide/itinerary so we (and you)know what we were getting into. Beaches gorgeous, bus driver skilled, scenery breath taking. I would recommend taking the offered boat trip in ksamil for 15€ per person well worth it, it will either take you around the three islands or drop you off at one of them for 30mins to dip in the cool and clear waters and then will pick you up. All in all had a wonderful time. Couldn't be happier. We booked through TripAdvisor and it was great but there are also other booking options. "Get your guide" app. Sima & Baška

Beautiful Places and a Great Guide

Amazing tour! Ksamil, Saranda, and the Blue Eye were absolutely beautiful. Everything was well organized, and a special thanks to our guide, Orgest, for being so kind, professional, and helpful throughout the day. Highly recommended!

Do not book - worst service - no show

I would never recommend that to book through Albanian Tours. Absolutely mortified of their service. I booked through Viator with the possibility of being picked up at hour hotel. The night before pickup, the driver writes me on WhatsApp asking me to meet the next day at a pickup place at 6.10, roughly an hour walk away. He was cheeky and said, we could just taxi. As it was not part the booking, I suggested they sent to pick us up. But the the driver just stopped replying, and deleting messages in the WhatsApp thread. Viator and then tried from afternoon until il midnight and the following morning to get hold of them. They didn’t reply. So we missed the trip. Would not trust to put my money forward these guys. Next time I would rather pay more but receive better service.

An amazing tour leader turn our tour in a good day

Francesco the tour leader is an Amazing person , he do all the best in a tour that every problem happened . Unfortunately Coach has issues in AC and after 3 hours drive need to be changed and Francesco take care of everything . Blue Eye is Spectacular place to visit and very attractive for nature lovers . Saranda is not the best place to swim , very crowded beach with lot of music from Restaurants in the area and not clean sea . On the way back to Tirana the bus need to be changed again and Francesco again take care of everything . In general on this tour we spend lot of time in bus travelling than enjoy the places . But still when consider everything we are more than happy with the day we spent THANKS FRANCESCO

The tour was guided by...

The tour was guided by Klodi who told many interesting things about Albania, he was responsive and helpful. The driver led the bus smoothly on the narrow road in the mountains, and the tour was organized well. However, my personal impressions is that the road takes much more time than sightseeing themselves since they are rather remoted if you start from Tirana.

Ksamil Blue Eye and Saranda Day Tour from Tirana Durres Golem: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tirana.

How much does Ksamil Blue Eye and Saranda Day Tour from Tirana Durres Golem cost?

+

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tirana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Ksamil Blue Eye and Saranda Day Tour from Tirana Durres Golem take?

+

Plan for about 14 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tirana is not rushed.

Is Ksamil Blue Eye and Saranda Day Tour from Tirana Durres Golem worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 55 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tirana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Ksamil Blue Eye and Saranda Day Tour from Tirana Durres Golem?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Ksamil Blue Eye and Saranda Day Tour from Tirana Durres Golem suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 14-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Ksamil Blue Eye and Saranda Day Tour from Tirana Durres Golem?

+

Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tirana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tirana and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Ksamil Blue Eye and Saranda Day Tour from Tirana Durres Golem start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tirana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tirana?

+

On Outty we rank every Tirana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Tirana- Hiking Tour to Bovilla Lake & Gamti Mountain, From Tirana / Durres: Gamti Mountain and Bovilla lake Day Trip, Kruja castle, the old Bazaar & Sarisalltik- Departure from Tirana. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tirana?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tirana?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
