Absolutely Worthwhile Day Trip

I had a fantastic experience on this day trip, visiting the Blue Eye first, followed by Lekursi Castle and then Ksamil Beach. The Blue Eye was absolutely beautiful, with plenty of time to walk around, take in the scenery and enjoy the natural surroundings. From there, we continued to Lekursi Castle, where we were rewarded with a stunning panoramic view, including the beautiful island of Corfu. Our final stop was Ksamil Beach, which also included a speedboat ride to and from the other side of the island. We didn’t get particularly close to the famous Hand of Ksamil, but we were able to view it from the boat, which was still a lovely experience. Afterwards, there was plenty of free time to eat, relax and swim for those who wanted to. It is a long day, mainly because of the early start, multiple pickup points in Tirana, Durrës and Golem, and the heavy traffic on the journey back. However, I definitely felt it was worth it to experience all three places in one day, as well as passing the Vjosa River along the way. A big thank you to our guide, Aurel Qosja, who was very knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic throughout the trip. He was always happy to answer questions and made sure everyone was included and comfortable. A special thank you also to our driver for getting us safely to and from all the destinations. A long day, but a memorable one and definitely worth doing if you want to see some of the highlights of southern Albania in one trip! 🇦🇱

Amazing Tour Experience in Albania

I had an amazing experience on this bus tour in Albania. Helena and the driver were both so friendly, professional, and patient throughout the trip. As a solo traveller, I really appreciated Helena helping me take photos at different stops and showing me where to find great local food. She made the whole experience feel very personal and welcoming. The driver was excellent too, and I felt safe during the journey. Albania is beautiful, and this tour made the experience even more special. Highly recommended!

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tirana?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tirana?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
