Wonderful Trip to Zakopane ❤️
We had an absolutely wonderful trip to Zakopane with Julia, and I truly could not have wished for a better guide and driver! Julia is such a kind, gentle, warm, and thoughtful person. She made us feel comfortable from the very beginning and took such good care of us throughout the whole day. She was not only an excellent driver and guide, but also a lovely person to spend the day with. Thanks to Julia, our trip to Zakopane was even more special and memorable. She shared interesting information, showed us beautiful places, and was always patient and helpful. We felt completely safe and relaxed with her. I am leaving Poland tomorrow, but I know I will definitely come back and visit some of the places I didn’t have time to see this time. I will always remember my wonderful day in Zakopane. Thank you so much, Julia, for everything! You are truly one of the nicest people I have ever met, and I feel very lucky that we had you as our guide. I highly recommend Julia to anyone visiting Kraków and Zakopane! ❤️🇵🇱 I hope to see you again one day! 😊

Wonderful experience / great trip!
Casper was our guide. We were picked up a few minutes early, shared a van with 8 other guests. Casper was well spoken, easy to understand. Stopped about an hour into the ride for restroom break and snack. Continued to the village of Chocholow to see the unique wooden houses. After 20 mins, we boarded again, next stop we tasted the smoked cheese (oscypek) and 2 different vodkas (at 11am!). As he drove Zakopane, he answered all our questions about the area. We had 2.5h in Zakopane, plenty of time to ride the funicular to the top, enjoy the beautiful views and shop/eat. The thermal baths (pools) were very crowded. Thank goodness for an adult only pool, but it was still crowded. The water temperature (36C) nearly matched the air temperature as Poland has been in a heat wave (33-35C). The ride home was quiet as it is a long day. Pickup 0810a, drop off 730p. Great way to spend a full day and see more of beautiful Poland.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the fantastic review! We’re so glad you enjoyed your Zakopane and Thermal Baths experience. Hope to see you again in Krakow!

Krakow - Zakopane Day Trip
Julia was amazing from start to finish. She made the experience so welcoming and was really friendly. She had great knowledge of both Krakow and Zakopane and gave us a huge list of recommendations for both which really helped. The trip itself was great, we only wish we could have stayed longer. 2.5/3 hours at both of the main stops seems quite a while but we got to the end of both and wish we had longer! Another thing to note is we could leave our bigger bags with our stuff for the thermal baths in, in the van at all of the stops so didn’t have to carry it around everywhere which really helped. Really good value for money and would absolutely do it again if visiting Krakow again in future. We went as a group of friends, but would recommend it for couples, friends or even solo.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the fantastic review! We’re so glad you enjoyed your Zakopane and Thermal Baths experience. Hope to see you again in Krakow!

Why this scores 86
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Krakow: Zakopane with Thermal Baths, Cable Car & Hotel Pickup: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.
How much does Krakow: Zakopane with Thermal Baths, Cable Car & Hotel Pickup cost?
+
Prices start at $46 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Krakow: Zakopane with Thermal Baths, Cable Car & Hotel Pickup take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.
Is Krakow: Zakopane with Thermal Baths, Cable Car & Hotel Pickup worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 574 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Krakow: Zakopane with Thermal Baths, Cable Car & Hotel Pickup?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Krakow: Zakopane with Thermal Baths, Cable Car & Hotel Pickup suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Krakow: Zakopane with Thermal Baths, Cable Car & Hotel Pickup?
+
Around 201 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Krakow: Zakopane with Thermal Baths, Cable Car & Hotel Pickup start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Krakow?
+
On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Krakow?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Krakow?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
