Amazing Angthong Tour! From Malaysian families
Ang Thong National Marine Park is absolutely stunning and definitely worth visiting. However, I found the itinerary description a little inaccurate, as it listed more stops than we actually visited during the tour. One thing I really appreciated was that every island/stop had restroom facilities, and they were surprisingly clean and well maintained. The hospitality from the crew was excellent. There was free-flow food and refreshments throughout the journey, and the big boat itself was comfortable. The onboard toilets were also clean, which made the trip even more enjoyable. My only concern is that some of the boat's barriers didn't feel very secure. Families traveling with young children should be extra cautious, as it could be a safety risk if kids are playing around those areas. The hotel pickup was punctual, and the van was comfortable and air-conditioned. A tip for anyone planning to hike to the viewpoints: please wear proper walking or hiking shoes. The climb can be quite challenging, and flip-flops or aqua shoes are not sufficient. Other than that, everything was great. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend booking with Oh Hoo. Thank you, Oh Hoo, for a memorable trip!

No frills value for money to Mu Ko AngThong well worth it
The no frills trip to Angthong National Marine Park was bags of fun. They really looked after us and safety and information is a high priority for them. Super friendly staff always ready to help. Tasty chicken stew lunch with watermelon for lunch. The views and sights are spectacular. Well worth it. The big boat filled up quickly. The trip routine is well rehearsed so at times you feel a little like on a production line but is best with so many people. Expect to get wet at sea. Is hot and humid so you will sweat. The snorkelling is fun. The water is warm but visibility is very poor. Don’t get too close to the urchins and corals and sharp stones sticking out the sea floor.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your trip to Angthong National Marine Park and that you found our team friendly, helpful, and attentive to safety and information throughout the day. We truly value your honest feedback regarding the overall organization and pace of the tour. With a popular destination and larger group sizes, the schedule can sometimes feel structured, and we understand how this may come across as less personal at times. Your comments are important and will be shared with our team as we continuously look for ways to improve the guest experience. We also appreciate your helpful remarks about sea conditions and snorkeling. The natural environment can indeed vary, and your observations may be useful for future guests preparing for the trip. Thank you again for your balanced and thoughtful review. We are glad you had an enjoyable experience overall and hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

Nice day trip from Koh Samui
The tour was well organized, the hotel pick-up very convenient. We stopped on two islands and I liked the freedom we had on each island, but it would be nice to stay longer on Koh Wua Talap, to allow people to visit both the cave and the view point. The staff were kind and helpful as the floating piers proved to be very challenging in the rough sea. Motion sickness pills were provided on board. Unfortunately I relied on the breakfast served on the boat, based on the description, and that was a mistake. It was only a banana and a very sweet baking powder tasting muffin. Have a proper breakfast before boarding. Otherwise, highly recommended.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your thoughtful and balanced review. We’re delighted to hear that you found the tour well organized and appreciated the convenient hotel pick-up, as well as the time spent exploring the islands. We also truly appreciate your kind words about our staff. Sea conditions can sometimes make the floating piers challenging, and we’re glad our team was able to assist and ensure your safety and comfort throughout the trip. Thank you as well for your honest feedback regarding the breakfast. We understand your disappointment and will review this with our team to see how we can improve the onboard offering and descriptions to better manage expectations. We’re grateful for your recommendation and hope to welcome you again in the future. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

Is Koh Samui to Angthong National Marine Park Trip By Big Boat worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 60 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Koh Samui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Koh Samui to Angthong National Marine Park Trip By Big Boat?

How far in advance should I book Koh Samui to Angthong National Marine Park Trip By Big Boat?
+
Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Koh Samui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Koh Samui and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

What are the best things to do in Koh Samui?
+
On Outty we rank every Koh Samui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angthong National Marine Park VIP Small Group Tour, Cooking Class in Koh Samui with Micro Organic Garden, Half Day Elephant Home Sanctuary in Samui. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Koh Samui?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Koh Samui?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
