Rupesh a fantastic guide for our Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Rupesh was a fantastic guide for our Annapurna Base Camp trek. He kept us clearly informed the whole way, always explaining where we'd eat, sleep, and what the plan was for the day ahead. What really impressed me was how well he handled tricky moments. When the monsoon rains got heavy, he stayed calm and adjusted our approach without any fuss. When one group member moved a bit slower, he organized more breaks and regroup points, especially through areas with past landslides, so we always moved through together. He also made sure everyone ate enough to keep our energy up. Every evening, with real care, he'd prepare a plate of apples and pomegranate, beautifully arranged, and offer it around to the group, such a lovely touch. On top of that, he was genuinely funny and made the trip more fun. Between his organization, calm handling of tricky situations, and clear care for the group, he made the trek feel easy and enjoyable. Couldn't recommend him more.

About this word of mouth

I don't think you can expect much from the reviews here, as the guides insist on word of mouth after the tour.

one of the best experiences of my life

Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. I'd been wanting to do the ABC trek for a long time. It was a marvelous few days with my guide and porter, Raju and Shankar. Their service was impeccable. They were always attentive to me and made sure the experience was the best it could be. As for the route, I highly recommend it. It's a few days surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, snow, and incredible views, although you do need to be in good physical condition. I highly recommend both the route and the company☺️❤️🇳🇵🥾🏔️

ABC TREK

I had an amazing time on my 5 day trek from Pokhara to ABC (Annapurna) trek. My guide Bikash and porter were incredible. Extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure I was safe the entire trek. I would highly recommend going with Bikash and his porter as they are outgoing, kind, and provide a 10/10 experience. I definitely plan to go with him again once I’m back in Nepal

Kathmandu to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek 7-Day Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Kathmandu to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek 7-Day Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $250 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kathmandu to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek 7-Day Tour take?

+

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Kathmandu to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek 7-Day Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kathmandu to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek 7-Day Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kathmandu to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek 7-Day Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Kathmandu to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek 7-Day Tour?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kathmandu to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek 7-Day Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
