Connection with nature

This is my second time trekking in Nepal with Prime Himalayas, with an absolute amazing trek this time to the Everest Base Camp. Beautiful experience, witnessing the majestic beauty of the snowcapped mountains. Just breathtaking from beginning to end. Prime Himalayas has an excellent group of professionals. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and accommodating. The porters were exceptional. Arjun was our guide and "great leader". A true professional that knows his craft. Some from our group have trekked with Arjun before and hopefully, we will have him as our guide on our next trek. Accommodations on the trail for the most part was nice, with beautiful mountain villages. On our trek from Everest Base Camp, we did spend a couple nights in two exceptionally beautiful lodges. That being said, we did have a few experiences at a couple lodges that were not so "lucky". In Kathmandu before and after our trek were spent several days at the SHUVATARA Suites and Spa. Very nice accommodations with great and friendly staff. Great food and close to shopping district. Looking forward to my next trek in Nepal.

Response from the operator: Namaste Michelle. Thank you very much for such an amazing review, much appreciated. That was our great pleasure to welcome you for the second trek ( you did ABC in October 2022) for Everest Base Camp and we are glad you and whole team enjoyed the entire trek and yes, we have well experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated team of guides and supporters, they are always helpful to make your dream come true and thanks again for keeping our 100% success rate continued and we can't wait to welcome you and your friends for probably Annapurna Circuit trek in 2026, May or November. Happy New Year 2026. Best wishes, Prakash and PH Team

Great tour of Kathmandu

I all have used Prakash to arrange travel in Nepal for many years. The service is always excellent. On this visit, he arranged a tour of some of the historic sights of the Kathmandu Valley for colleagues who were visiting Nepal for the first time. He got us a superb guide (the wonderful Pranav), a nice vehicle and driver, and it was very good value. I would definitely recommend Prime for your arrangements in Nepal.

Response from the operator: Namaste Simon. Thank you very much for your feedback, really appreciated. I am very glad to get chance to arrange your several tours and treks in Nepal. It looks like a family. See you in April for next tour with your family. Best wishes, Prakash and Prime Himalayas Team

Amaizing Experience !!

Me and my friends had our Nepal Holiday this September. I sent my query to couple of travel companies and luckily only Prakash from Prime Himalayas responded very quickly and he well understood our customized interest to make tours and little hike and he offered best quote as well. His services seems the best one in Nepal. He picked up us from airport and bring us to hotel. Hotel was pretty nice and his tour guide Pranav is excellent. He knows all heritage and cultural sites very well. Our time in Chitwan Wildlife Safari and tour in Pokhara was next attraction for our team. We had 3 days hike from Pokhara and our trekking guide Ganga was superb. His knowledge seems brilliant and he did very care for us. Views of Himalayas was amazing. We felt in love with Himalayas and sunrise view was beautiful. Prakash is available 7/24 via email and WhatsApp. Finally he hosted our farewell dinner with cultural show in Kathmandu. Prakash and his team seems amazing and their services are awesome. I strongly recommend this Travel company when you plan Nepal holiday. Of course, we will come back soon and take Prime Himalayas’s travel services again.

Response from the operator: Dear Michael, Namaste. Thank you very much for your review, appreciated. Yes, that was our great pleasure to get chance to organize your vacation. Of course, our all staffs are very kind and well experienced. We are very glad that you and your travel buddies enjoyed your Nepal vacation with our team. We hope to get chance again for next trip in Nepal. Nepal is celebrating Visit Nepal Year 2020, so please come and make it possible Lifetime Experience. Best wishes from Prakash and Prime Himalayas Team

Kathmandu Heritage Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Kathmandu Heritage Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $32 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kathmandu Heritage Tour take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Kathmandu Heritage Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kathmandu Heritage Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kathmandu Heritage Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Kathmandu Heritage Tour?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kathmandu Heritage Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
