Memorable tour of Khatmandu's Temples!

Shankar was a fantastic tour guide. He is very passionate about his culture and nation, and he is extremely knowledgeable about his history. He was super informative and kept it interesting the entire time....something that is not easy to do over a 5 hour tour! I highly recommend Shankar and this tour!

Everest Base Camp Trek

Always had a wish list of visiting Nepal and trek to the Everest base Camp of the world's tallest mountain. After researching for the best and local trekking company in Kathmandu, Nepal I came across to Nepal Hiking Adventure. I found them were very honest, kind and helpful. I came to Nepal alone but there was a person from the agency who dropped me to my hotel. Later, he took me to his office and I came to know he was my guide for my trip to Everest Base Camp trek. This am a solo travelers but I was requested for group join trek for EBC, NHA has prepared a small group of people from different world, it was a great to meet different people for the trek. We had a small meeting with Bishnu, the managing director and Ram our tour guide. Bishnu brief everything regarding the trip. After that, Ram suggest me best cafes and restaurants nearby my hotel for tasting authentic Nepalese cuisine. Since, I visited Nepal alone they introduce me to wonderful groups of people around as well. Trekking with them was just amazing. We all were visiting Nepal for the first time as well as trekking in Everest but our tour guides and porters make this trip easy, fun, exciting and very memorable. I was truly amazed by our porters Chiring and Lakpa, they were carrying heavy loads of bags on a steep rough pathway whereas we were getting breathless even we were carrying a light backpack. Throughout the trek, we talk about our personal life stories and learn a lot things about this region. The views from Everest Base camp and Kala Patthar is beyond any imagination which gives you the feelings that Heaven exists in the form of Himalayas. A big thank you to our guide, porters and other Nepal Hiking Adventure team for making my journey everlasting. I will never forget this adventurous journey I took with an amazing group of people. I suggest people to take physical and mental training before starting this trek as it can be very helpful while trekking long distance. I can’t forget this especially at last I would recommend Nepal Hiking Adventure to those who wants best services as this company truly offers high quality services.

Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

Well I did my Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour on the last week of May with my Colleagues Sam and Robin. Before this tour we had no knowledge about this trip, I was quite nervous and scared about getting altitude sickness but our tour manager Bishnu Lamsal motivated us and told me that if there is such a risks and if any such case occurs you will fly back to lower elevated places for acclimatization. Somehow I was convinced to do Everest Helicopter Tour after listening to them. The views during the EBC helicopter tour were amazing from above and landing. We landed in Lukla for some time then we headed towards Everest Base Camp. Along the way, was showing the beautiful peaks and providing information about the villages, rivers, valleys, monastery, national park that we cross. The helicopter lands on Everest Base Camp (Kalapatter) for 10 minutes and we started taking photographs and videos and have the lifetime picture of World Highest Peak. Then we back to Everest View Hotel where we took lunch. The foods were quite good never expected to have such good quality foods at this height. After that, we fly back to Kathmandu and escorted to our hotel rooms. In overall, this trip was magical and the views and scenery was beyond any imagination. I truly thanks to Nepal Hiking Adventure for making this journey memorable. The do what they say. They provide excellent services and i would like to recommend you to visit Nepal Hiking Adventure if you want best tour and trekking services.

Kathmandu City Tour - Private UNESCO World Heritage Sites Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Kathmandu City Tour - Private UNESCO World Heritage Sites Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $48 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kathmandu City Tour - Private UNESCO World Heritage Sites Tour take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Kathmandu City Tour - Private UNESCO World Heritage Sites Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kathmandu City Tour - Private UNESCO World Heritage Sites Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kathmandu City Tour - Private UNESCO World Heritage Sites Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Kathmandu City Tour - Private UNESCO World Heritage Sites Tour?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kathmandu City Tour - Private UNESCO World Heritage Sites Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
