Brilliantly organized trip

Kunjan is a fantastic ambassador for his home country. We were a group of 11 people, with a mix of elderly, an infant and young children. He organized a trip that was relaxed and appropriate for such a disparate group. He suggested places across Kathmandu and Pokhara (and Jomsom, for a part of the group that went there) that gave us a great experience of Nepal. He actively discouraged us from going to places where he would stand to make more money because he knew we wouldn't have a great time. Wholeheartedly suggest KJ Adventures to everyone looking to experience Nepal

An absolutely unforgettable Nepal experience — all thanks to K.J Travels!

We recently travelled to Nepal with our family, including my 70-year-old mother, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable trips we have ever taken — all thanks to K.J Travels. Our journey began in Kathmandu, where we visited the iconic Durbar Squares, the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, the breathtaking Chandragiri Hills, and the beautifully preserved heritage town of Bhaktapur. Every visit was perfectly timed with no rush at all. We then spent two wonderful days in Pokhara exploring the Davis Waterfall, witnessing the stunning sunrise from Sarangkot, and venturing into the fascinating underground caves. The natural beauty of this city left us speechless. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly Jomsom and Muktinath. The visit to the revered Muktinath Temple, the serene beauty of Marpha Village, and the thrill of trekking in single-digit cold temperatures made for an experience our family will cherish forever. What truly sets K.J Travels apart is their exceptional attention to detail. The accommodations were outstanding — great locations, clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a family trip. Every visit was arranged promptly and on schedule. The drivers were always punctual, incredibly helpful, and genuinely friendly. Travelling with my elderly mother, we were concerned about comfort and pace, but K.J Travels handled everything with such care and warmth that she enjoyed every moment of the trip without a worry. If you are planning a trip to Nepal, look no further than K.J Travels. Their professionalism, warmth, and dedication to making your trip flawless are truly unmatched. We are extremely happy with the entire experience and cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you, K.J Travels, for giving our family memories that will last a lifetime!

Kathmandu and Pokhara: 6 Days in the Heart of Nepal: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Kathmandu and Pokhara: 6 Days in the Heart of Nepal cost?

+

Prices start at $630 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kathmandu and Pokhara: 6 Days in the Heart of Nepal take?

+

Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Kathmandu and Pokhara: 6 Days in the Heart of Nepal worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kathmandu and Pokhara: 6 Days in the Heart of Nepal?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kathmandu and Pokhara: 6 Days in the Heart of Nepal suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 144-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Kathmandu and Pokhara: 6 Days in the Heart of Nepal?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kathmandu and Pokhara: 6 Days in the Heart of Nepal start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
