Tonle Sap is amazing!!

Wow today was so beautiful on Tonle Sap with our awesome tour guide. We saved the best till last and it was totally amazing. Feed on the floating villages followed by a beautiful sun set on the lake.. the best finale to my trip I could have asked for! I loved it!

Great tour to get to know Siem Reap and Cambodia

Guide Nan, driver Ratta and arranger Nai were all a pleasure for this trip. Nan shared his extensive knowledge of the sites we visited and put up with our constant questions about Cambodia. Although we visited during the period where the village was not "floating" we still had an excellent time.

Super tour guide, mr theara

Mr theara is a funny and easy going guy. We booked his service from 23/10 to 26/10. For the first day he got his niece to pick us from airport then check in hotel and we went for a sunset cruise. He managed to arrange a private cruise for us, it is such a great time we spent there. Next day we travel from Phnom Penh to siem reap and he met us there. He brought us to floating village and at first we thought we will miss the sunset but he manage to let us see the sunset during the boat riding. Really super nice view! The next day we went to Angkor wat and he help us took lot of nice pictures! He is super good in taking photo. Also he explain the history of Angkor wat… night time he brought us for a nice meal at local street.. love it! Overall we love his service and strongly recommend him to others who will want to travel to Cambodia!

Response from the operator: big fun in Cambodia Thanks for your help and sharing a beautiful experience during your holiday in Cambodia phnom phen and siem reap am blessing you and your friends family enjoy next holiday like Cambodia am hopefully will meet a gait in future Theara or Tom

Kampong Phluk Floating Village & Sunset Lake Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does Kampong Phluk Floating Village & Sunset Lake Tour cost?

+

How long does Kampong Phluk Floating Village & Sunset Lake Tour take?

That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Is Kampong Phluk Floating Village & Sunset Lake Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

How far in advance should I book Kampong Phluk Floating Village & Sunset Lake Tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kampong Phluk Floating Village & Sunset Lake Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

+

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
