DON’T book
The guide confirmed the tour and pickup time (9am) 2 months in advance when booked. On the day, he didn’t show at 9am. I messaged him and he didn’t respond until 9.20am when he said he’ll only pick us up at 10am. 10min later he sends a message that he will not come anymore and cancels the tour. Such a waste of a day as we had already done everything else in Tbilisi and it was our last day so we couldn’t book anything else and because of this guide, never got to see or experience the wine country. To top it all off, I was told that a refund will be actioned immediately but nothing has been done. I contacted Viator (who took the payment) and they are just not responding. Guess I’ll have to take this further and warn everyone on all available platforms. Very disappointing.
Response from the operator: Dear Bianca, I want to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused during your recent experience with us. I deeply regret that I was unable to fulfill the tour as planned, and I understand how frustrating and disappointing this must have been, especially on your last day in Tbilisi. Unfortunately, an unforeseen situation arose on the day of your tour, which led to the delay and eventual cancellation. While this is not an excuse, I take full responsibility for the disruption caused to your plans and the impact it had on your experience. Regarding the refund, I was under the impression that Viator had initiated the process, but I will follow up with them immediately to ensure it is resolved as quickly as possible. I understand how important this matter is to you, and I will provide you with an update on the refund status within [48hrs]. I truly value your feedback and am taking steps to ensure such issues do not happen again. If there is anything I can do to make amends, please let me know. Once again, I am very sorry for falling short of your expectations. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I appreciate your understanding. Best regards, Beso Sunny Caucasus Tours

Wine, History, and Heartwarming Memories in Kakheti!
Our private tour of Kakheti with Sunny Tours was absolutely delightful! Coming from Greece, we were amazed by how Georgia’s culture, especially its winemaking traditions, felt so familiar yet wonderfully unique. Our guide, Beso, went above and beyond to make the day special for us. He shared fascinating stories about the region, its history, and its traditions, which brought every stop on our tour to life. From visiting stunning monasteries to enjoying wine tastings at picturesque vineyards, every moment felt like a dream. The highlight for us was the incredible hospitality—we even had the chance to enjoy a traditional Georgian feast that was as delicious as it was heartwarming. Everything was perfectly planned, and Beso ensured the experience was tailored to our interests and pace. We wholeheartedly recommend Sunny Tours to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable adventure in Georgia!
Response from the operator: Thank you dear for your wonderful review! I’m delighted you enjoyed your experience and hope to welcome you back for more adventures in Georgia. ❤️ 🙏❤️ 🙏

Kakheti Private Tour with Wine Tasting from Tbilisi: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tbilisi.
How much does Kakheti Private Tour with Wine Tasting from Tbilisi cost?
+
Prices start at $135 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tbilisi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Kakheti Private Tour with Wine Tasting from Tbilisi take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tbilisi is not rushed.
Is Kakheti Private Tour with Wine Tasting from Tbilisi worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tbilisi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Kakheti Private Tour with Wine Tasting from Tbilisi?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Kakheti Private Tour with Wine Tasting from Tbilisi suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Kakheti Private Tour with Wine Tasting from Tbilisi?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tbilisi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tbilisi and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Kakheti Private Tour with Wine Tasting from Tbilisi start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tbilisi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tbilisi?
+
On Outty we rank every Tbilisi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tbilisi:Evening Walking & Talking Tour with Wine & Boat Ride, Kakheti Wine Region Tour + 10 Premium Wine Tastings & Sunset, Tbilisi:Mtskheta,Jvari,Bazaar, wine tasting,Chronicles of Georgia. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tbilisi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tbilisi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
