Fantastic day exploring Kakheti – highly recommend!
An excellent day out exploring Kakheti! I certainly covered some miles, but the tour was incredibly well organised and packed in a fantastic variety of experiences. Highlights included stopping at roadside stalls for local cheese and delicious traditional bread, freshly baked straight from the oven; visiting the Muzze family wine cellar, where beautiful wines are made with genuine passion, love and generations of knowledge; and exploring the charming town of Sighnaghi, including walking along the old city walls with spectacular views towards Azerbaijan. I also enjoyed a wonderful home-cooked lunch in Kardenakhi, accompanied by wine produced in the family’s own cellar. Another highlight was the beautiful Bodbe Monastery – so peaceful and serene, with incredible views and immaculately landscaped grounds. My guide, Giorgi, really made the day. His English was excellent, and he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and engaging, sharing fascinating insights into Georgian history, culture and traditions throughout the tour. As a solo traveller, I found this a fantastic way to experience so much of the region in one day, enjoy authentic Georgian hospitality and learn about the country from a local perspective. A thoroughly enjoyable and memorable experience. Highly recommend!

Great full day tour
Giga was very knowledgeable about various Georgia facts. He also had a fantastic itinerary that encompassed eating local bread and cheese, visiting a mountain with incredible views, visited his family home and tried his private wine cellar, and lastly we visited another local winery. Overall was a fantastic experience and would say that if your time is limited in Georgia, you should certainly prioritize this experience!
