This review is from my...
This review is from my son, Nick: The excursion was the best that I have ever done as part of any vacation. That was exclusively due to our excellent guide Miguel. He took us to a local grocery store and restaurant, where we got food and drinks, including freshly made bread for the sandwiches, before we rode out to the park. He was a great driver and even had a small fridge for our drinks and had water available for us. The hike was great, challenging but fun and the spot where we ate lunch was breathtaking. The dinosaur footprints were the highlight of our cruise trip. Afterwards we ate at a local restaurant and had more great food and rolled into the port with plenty of time to get back on the ship. Miguel was phenomenal and pointed out birds to us, animal signs and local wildlife. If I could only do one excursion, I would do this one, and insist on Miguel.
Response from the operator: Dear Nick, Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and generous review. Reading that this was the best excursion you have experienced on any vacation is incredibly meaningful to us. Miguel represents exactly the kind of experience we strive to create — authentic, personal, safe, and memorable. From the local food stops and fresh bread to the hike, wildlife observations, and the dinosaur footprints, I am delighted to know the day felt special from beginning to end. We strongly believe that great tours are built through genuine human connection and attention to detail, and your words confirm that Miguel delivered this at the highest level. I will personally make sure your feedback reaches him. On behalf of everyone at Look Around Tours, thank you for trusting us with part of your journey. We would be honored to welcome you and your family back anytime. Warm regards, Marquês CEO & Founder Look Around

Great Hike for Moderate/Experienced Hikers
Our guide Miguel was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife we saw. There were a fair amount of challenging parts of the hike, but the views were worth it!

Beautiful day hike
André was a great guide yo have during this trip. The scenary was beautiful and we enjoyed the hike. Very diverse, as you walk across scenic ocean vires to local farms. It is a 16km hike, but it goes well. Only a few difficult parts. Thank you André for the wonderful Day!

Jurassic Hiking tour to footprints of dinosaur in Espichel Cape: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does Jurassic Hiking tour to footprints of dinosaur in Espichel Cape cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Jurassic Hiking tour to footprints of dinosaur in Espichel Cape take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.
Is Jurassic Hiking tour to footprints of dinosaur in Espichel Cape worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 51 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Jurassic Hiking tour to footprints of dinosaur in Espichel Cape?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Jurassic Hiking tour to footprints of dinosaur in Espichel Cape suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Jurassic Hiking tour to footprints of dinosaur in Espichel Cape?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Jurassic Hiking tour to footprints of dinosaur in Espichel Cape start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
