Gold Star Tour
My husband and I have travelled the world and this tour was the best we’ve ever experienced. Our guide was inspiring, energized, knowledgeable and very passionate regarding Fijian culture. It was an entire day that kept our group entertained from start to finish. No activity was rushed: swimming near a waterfall, an adventurous but safe boat ride through rapids, a slow ride on a bamboo raft, watching dancing and singing during a kava ceremony, and a basket weaving demonstration. The buffet was spectacular with true Fijian dishes (the chicken and fish prepared in a covered pit). We were greeted warmly by all the adults and the children and it was actually hard to say goodbye. If I could recommend one thing, it would be to take items for the village people, especially the children. My husband and I took small gifts (toiletries/toys) and the smiles on their faces made our day.
Response from the operator: Bula & Vinaka for visiting us and sharing your kindness and love with the children and the people of the village - much appreciated. We are happy to know your day with us was informative and worthwhile. Vinaka Vakalevu Scott Manager

Our group's favorite
This was our group's favorite tour. Our grandkids especially enjoyed swimming in the waterfall pool. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. After the rafting we were welcomed to the village and taught a lot about Fijian culture and how the craft skills of the past are still practiced today. Book this tour early, especially if your stay coincides with a cruise ship stopover in Suva. If you have mobility issues, you might give it a pass.

Excellent Tour
This was such a good excursion. From start to finish our guide Isaac was excellent. Four activities in this tour, the final one ending at the cultural village. This was one of the best I have done. We had a lot of interesting information from Isaac, singing and dancing by and with the villagers and a fantastic home cooked Fijian meal. I would most definitely recommend this tour.
Response from the operator: Bula Vinaka! Thank you for your candid comments and we are so glad to know your day with us was well spent. Vinaka Vakalevu Scott

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Jewel Of Fiji incl Fijian Village, Waterfall & Lunch Coral Coast: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Viti Levu.
How much does Jewel Of Fiji incl Fijian Village, Waterfall & Lunch Coral Coast cost?
+
Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Viti Levu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Jewel Of Fiji incl Fijian Village, Waterfall & Lunch Coral Coast take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Viti Levu is not rushed.
Is Jewel Of Fiji incl Fijian Village, Waterfall & Lunch Coral Coast worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Viti Levu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Jewel Of Fiji incl Fijian Village, Waterfall & Lunch Coral Coast?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Jewel Of Fiji incl Fijian Village, Waterfall & Lunch Coral Coast suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Jewel Of Fiji incl Fijian Village, Waterfall & Lunch Coral Coast?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Viti Levu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Viti Levu and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Jewel Of Fiji incl Fijian Village, Waterfall & Lunch Coral Coast start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Viti Levu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Viti Levu?
+
On Outty we rank every Viti Levu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cruisin’ Fiji: Monuriki, Mana Sand Bar & Snorkelling Day Cruise, River Tubing Fiji, Navua River, Naihehe Cave Safari in Sigatoka with BBQ Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Viti Levu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Viti Levu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
