your guide amber Jaipur India
Explore Panna Meena Ka Kund (stepwell), a little-known gem on the way to Amber Fort. It was built over 400 years ago and features stunning architecture and labyrinthine staircases that will take your breath away! Amber Fort is located 11 kilometers north of central Jaipur. This massive fort-palace complex, built in a hybrid Hindu-Muslim style, dates back to Raja Man Singh and served as the palace of the Kachwahas from 1600-1727. The fort is not named after the rather pretty pastel yellow colour; rather, it is named after the town of Amber, whose name was in turn derived from the goddess Amba. The main sights within the fort include the Sheesh Mahal, adorned with thousands on thousands of mirror tiles on the walls and ceiling. The fort/palace grounds are sprawling so we recommend hiring a guide. We can assist with this process.

Explorong Jaipur by tuk tuk is the way to go!
We had an amazing day with our driver, Sohil! He was a very skilled tuk tuk driver. He was very knowledgeable about the city and the places we visited. He was very accommodating when we wanted to take more time at a site and was easy to communicate with. He helped us find local yummy lunch with both veg &non veg options (including less spicy options!) and snacks through out the day. He offered to secure a tour guide if we wanted one and gave us advice for the rest of our stay. Throughout the day, he checked in to see what else we needed and asked for honest feedback. All around, he made our adventure AMAZING! Highly recommended!

Great day out
We customised our city tour and Imran was super helpful in guiding us. He was able to provide a lot of historical and cultural info for the places we went, and even took us to a great little spot for lunch. Really wish there was something like this in more cities in Northern India.

If you want to see all the best sites of Jaipur within a day, then this tour is perfect for you! Furthermore, he can also arrange other services such as transports to other places in Rajasthan. Great contact to have to travel in the area!

Book your Jaipur tour! Amber Fort & City Palace
We had a great day with Imran in Jaipur! We made the mistake of waking up late due to our alarm and Imran waited for us the whole time and picked us up when ready. We stopped for some delicious lassi. He was very kind and knowledgeable. We went to Amber fort and he helped us coordinate to get a jeep ride up to the entrance. (Ticket and Jeep prices not included) we were lucky that it was world museum day and the fort was free. From there we stopped for pictures and lunch, headed to see cloth block printing, then to the museum. We were able to personalize the tour as needed. We would have experienced a lot more had we not been late, but that was our fault. Imran was also kind to try and help us organize travel to Udaipur. He knows India very well and is a great resource.
Response from the operator: Thanks for your review. I am happy you enjoyed your tuk-tuk tour of Jaipur.

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Jaipur City Full Day Tour By Tuk-Tuk: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jaipur.
How much does Jaipur City Full Day Tour By Tuk-Tuk cost?
+
Prices start at $300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jaipur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Jaipur City Full Day Tour By Tuk-Tuk take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jaipur is not rushed.
Is Jaipur City Full Day Tour By Tuk-Tuk worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jaipur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Jaipur City Full Day Tour By Tuk-Tuk?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Jaipur City Full Day Tour By Tuk-Tuk suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 9-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Jaipur City Full Day Tour By Tuk-Tuk?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jaipur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jaipur and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Jaipur City Full Day Tour By Tuk-Tuk start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jaipur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jaipur?
+
On Outty we rank every Jaipur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi By Car -All inclusive, Private Jaipur Full One Day Tour In Pink City With Guide, Private Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing Tour By Tuk Tuk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jaipur?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jaipur?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
