Two continents, Bosphorus river tour review

Omer Faruk was a knowledgeable and personable tour guide, who was able to explain important facts that gave us some insights into the tour that we wouldn't have got on our own. Pick up and communication were excellent, with the highlights of the tour being the palace and Omer's street food choice for lunch. Omer was willing to adjust our tour to remove things that we had already seen, but include additional requests. He also gave us some recommendations for other restaurants and activities for us to enjoy for the rest of our stay in Istanbul. Overall a very good experience which we enjoyed.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic review! We're delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable experience on our Two Continents Tour. It's wonderful to know that Ömer Faruk's knowledge and friendly approach helped make the tour both informative and memorable. We're especially pleased that he was able to tailor the itinerary to your interests, recommend great local restaurants, and even introduce you to some delicious street food. Providing a personalised experience is something we always strive for. Thank you for your kind words about our communication and pick-up arrangements as well. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Istanbul for another FEZ Travel experience in the future!

    Omer Faruk, ultimate tour guide!

A very exciting and full day. Our guide, Omer Faruk made this tour an absolute pleasure. Omer's excellent English made it easy to stay engaged with all the history and knowledge he shared with us. Very polite, considerate, Omer was very attentive to our needs in the course of the day. He made an excellent choice for lunch at a street restaurant for grilled mackerel in a wrap! Our driver, Berkan, was very skilled and punctual always.

We are absolutely delighted to hear that you had such an exciting and fulfilling experience with us. Omer Faruk is indeed a fantastic guide, and we are incredibly proud of his ability to bring Istanbul's rich history to life with such ease and attentiveness. We also truly appreciate your kind words about Berkan. Navigating Istanbul's vibrant streets smoothly and punctually takes real skill, and our drivers work incredibly hard to ensure our guests feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. Thank you again for choosing us for your Istanbul adventure. Should your travels bring you back to Turkey in the future, we would be absolutely thrilled to welcome you again!

Istanbul City Break-loads of site seeing in just a couple days

The actual tour I took was Istanbul City Break. It was amazing. I had 2 different guides, and both offered what I wanted to see and experience. Both were well versed in what each site contained and had a deep understanding of the history. In addition, both guides looked after my wellbeing. This is a great tour, very comprehensive. The hotel was also great. I felt that the staff looked after me, especially when my taxi back to the airport was delayed. They found alternative transportation and I made it on time. I highly recommend this tour and its company.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! We are absolutely delighted to hear that your Istanbul City Break was such a comprehensive and amazing success. It is fantastic to know that both of your guides provided the perfect balance of deep historical insight and genuine care for your well-being. We pride ourselves on having a team that looks after our guests every step of the way, so hearing that you felt so well taken care of means the world to us. We are also incredibly glad to hear about the excellent service you received at the hotel. We choose our local partners very carefully. Thank you again for your high recommendation and for choosing us for your Istanbul getaway. Should your travels bring you back to Türkiye for a longer adventure in the future, we would love to welcome you back!

Great Day 2 walking tour of Istanbul

Omer was brilliant. Very knowledgeable, good English and very patient with slower walkers. Gave us good recommendations for lunch spot, how to negotiate the bazaar and other questions we asked that were not related to the tour. He adjusted the schedule to avoid crowds and made good suggestions of how best to spend our time.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! We are absolutely delighted to hear that you had such a brilliant second day exploring Istanbul. Omer is a fantastic guide, and we are so proud of his ability to blend deep historical knowledge with genuine care and patience for every guest's pace. Thank you again for choosing Fez Travel. Should your travels bring you back to Türkiye in the future, we would be absolutely thrilled to welcome you back for another adventure!

Istanbul Two Continents, Bosphorous, Spice Bazaar, Beylerbeyi Palace and Camlica Hill: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Istanbul.

How much does Istanbul Two Continents, Bosphorous, Spice Bazaar, Beylerbeyi Palace and Camlica Hill cost?

    +

Prices start at $195 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Istanbul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Istanbul Two Continents, Bosphorous, Spice Bazaar, Beylerbeyi Palace and Camlica Hill take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Istanbul is not rushed.

Is Istanbul Two Continents, Bosphorous, Spice Bazaar, Beylerbeyi Palace and Camlica Hill worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Istanbul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Istanbul Two Continents, Bosphorous, Spice Bazaar, Beylerbeyi Palace and Camlica Hill?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Istanbul Two Continents, Bosphorous, Spice Bazaar, Beylerbeyi Palace and Camlica Hill suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Istanbul Two Continents, Bosphorous, Spice Bazaar, Beylerbeyi Palace and Camlica Hill?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Istanbul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Istanbul Two Continents, Bosphorous, Spice Bazaar, Beylerbeyi Palace and Camlica Hill start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Istanbul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Istanbul?

    +

On Outty we rank every Istanbul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Istanbul 1, 2 or 3-Day Private Guided Istanbul Tour, Istanbul Luxury Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with Asian Side Stop, ISTANBUL BEST: Iconic Landmarks Full Day PRIVATE Guided City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Istanbul?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Istanbul?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
