Do check what you want to do before you do this

I have to tell you...there was no clear indication on your site or theirs how this works. Got an email at 9 pm on first day of pass that was sent out at 7 am....there should be much more information sent at least day before or few days before on how this works....didn't find staff that helpful....I think if you have lots of data on your phone...may be better...but when most travelers are dealing with esims, they don't.....alot of money for very little explanation....

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you found the information difficult to follow, and we would like to clarify how the Istanbul Tourist Pass® works. The information regarding each tour and activity is provided directly on the **individual activity page** and is also included in the **confirmation email sent after each reservation**. To participate in tours and activities, guests are required to make a separate reservation for each experience through the Istanbul Tourist Pass® app using their Pass ID. After each reservation is completed, the confirmation email provides the relevant instructions for that specific activity, including the **meeting point, tour details, access instructions, and audio guide information where applicable**. The same information can also be accessed through the app. Our support team is available through multiple channels, including **WhatsApp and email**, and guests can contact us whenever they need assistance with their reservations, meeting points, audio guides, or any other Pass-related questions. We are always happy to help clarify the instructions and provide the necessary information. We understand that traveling with an eSIM or limited mobile data can make accessing information on the go more challenging. This is why, in the **“Know Before You Go”** section of the relevant activity pages, we specifically recommend reviewing the information in advance and **downloading any required audio guides before visiting the attraction**, particularly for locations where mobile connectivity may be limited. We also reviewed our support records and could not find any request or message from you seeking assistance regarding these issues during your visit. Had you contacted our support team, we would have been happy to assist you and provide any necessary information or guidance. We regret that the information did not meet your expectations, but we hope this clarification explains where the relevant information is provided, how the reservation process works, and how our support team is available to assist guests throughout their experience. Best regards, Istanbul Tourist Pass® – The most extensive all-in-one digital city pass, offering access to 120+ attractions, guided tours, skip-the-line entries, and unforgettable experiences across Istanbul.

    AVOID THIS PASS

Before writing this review, I must say that they lie when they reply to your reviewm Having stated so... AVOID THIS PASS if you value flexibility or decent customer service. The marketing makes it sound like you'll have the freedom to visit Istanbul's top attractions with ease, but what they don't make clear before you buy is just how restrictive many of the attractions are. Only after purchasing the pass did I discover that several attractions require joining guided entries at very specific times. Instead of exploring the city on your own schedule, you're forced to organize your entire day around their timetable. To make matters worse, I felt that the pass wasn't nearly as good a value as it appeared. Many of the places included are attractions that are free to enter anyway, so the list of "included attractions" is much less impressive than it first seems. I ended up feeling like I had paid a premium for benefits that added very little value. The worst experience was at the Basilica Cistern. After paying a significant amount for the pass, we arrived literally one minute late for our guided entry. Rather than asking the guide to come back to the entrance for a moment so we could join, they simply refused. Their explanation was that the guide had already gone inside, so there was nothing they could do. We lost our visit entirely despite having already paid for it. What made the situation even worse was the customer service. Instead of trying to find a solution or showing even a little understanding, they were rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. Once they've got your money, don't expect them to make any effort to resolve a problem, even when a simple solution seemed possible. In the end, this pass created more stress than convenience. Between the hidden scheduling restrictions, poor customer service, and what I felt was an inflated list of included attractions, it was one of the biggest disappointments of my trip. If I could do my trip again, I would buy tickets directly from the attractions I actually wanted to visit and avoid this pass altogether. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We would like to clarify some points regarding the Istanbul Tourist Pass® experience. All details regarding reservation requirements, hosted entries, meeting points, and scheduled activities are clearly stated on our website, FAQ section, and app. Some attractions require joining a guided or hosted entry at specific times due to the operational rules of the attraction or service provider. These schedules are provided to guests in advance after reservation and can also be viewed through the app. We would also like to note that, according to our records, your pass was successfully used for the included activities, and no technical or access issues were reported during your usage period. The Istanbul Tourist Pass® offers much more than entrance tickets. Depending on the attraction, guests can benefit from licensed guides, hosted services, audio guides, skip-the-line access, customer support, and other services designed to make exploring Istanbul easier and more informative. Regarding the Basilica Cistern visit, our customer support team is always available to assist in unexpected situations. Since guides must continue with their assigned groups after entering, returning to the meeting point may not always be possible. However, contacting our team at the time would have allowed us to check available options and provide assistance whenever possible. We appreciate all feedback from our guests and remain committed to providing clear information and a valuable experience for travelers visiting Istanbul. Best regards, Istanbul Tourist Pass® – The most extensive all-in-one digital city pass, offering access to 120+ attractions, guided tours, skip-the-line entries, and unforgettable experiences across Istanbul.

Istanbul Tourist Pass: Skip-the-Line Entry to 120+Activities: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Istanbul.

How much does Istanbul Tourist Pass: Skip-the-Line Entry to 120+Activities cost?

    +

Prices start at $109 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Istanbul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Istanbul Tourist Pass: Skip-the-Line Entry to 120+Activities take?

    +

Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Istanbul is not rushed.

Is Istanbul Tourist Pass: Skip-the-Line Entry to 120+Activities worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 631 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Istanbul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Istanbul Tourist Pass: Skip-the-Line Entry to 120+Activities?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Istanbul Tourist Pass: Skip-the-Line Entry to 120+Activities suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 24-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Istanbul Tourist Pass: Skip-the-Line Entry to 120+Activities?

    +

Around 221 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Istanbul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Istanbul Tourist Pass: Skip-the-Line Entry to 120+Activities start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Istanbul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Istanbul?

    +

On Outty we rank every Istanbul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Istanbul 1, 2 or 3-Day Private Guided Istanbul Tour, Istanbul Luxury Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with Asian Side Stop, ISTANBUL BEST: Iconic Landmarks Full Day PRIVATE Guided City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Istanbul?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Istanbul?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
